Inleiding
Het TOEGANGSHEK behorende tot het complex aan de Oudendijk 36 te Korendijk is waarschijnlijk in het laatste kwart van de negentiende eeuw geplaatst. De samenstellende delen van het hekwerk zijn later uit elkaar gezet, waardoor ze niet langer één geheel vormen.
Omschrijving
Het toegangshek is samengesteld uit twee pijlers, waaraan hekdelen van giet- en smeedijzer zijn gehangen. In gesloten toestand vormen de scharnierende delen een concaaf gebogen bovenregel. Het hekwerk is verticaal geleed door spijlen met pijlpunten.

Het toegangshek is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische en de ensemblewaarde.

The ACCESS GATE belonging to the complex at Oudendijk 36 in Korendijk was probably placed in the last quarter of the nineteenth century. The component parts of the ironwork were later taken apart, so that they no longer form one whole.
