In de noordoostelijke hoek van de algemene begraafplaats van Sambeek staat een ongedateerd en anoniem GRAFKRUIS, dat waarschijnlijk uit het eerste kwart van de twintigste eeuw dateert.
Omschrijving
Het kruis is identiek aan de kruisen met monumentnummer 525222 en 525236. Het opengewerkte gietijzeren grafkruis heeft in het centrum een afbeelding van Christus, die, met weggeslagen mantel en tuniek, Zijn Heilig Hart toont. Het kruis is verder gesierd met florale motieven en een kelk met hostie. In de voet zijn, staande, Petrus en Paulus afgebeeld.

In the northeastern corner of the general cemetery of Sambeek stands an undated and anonymous FUNERARY CROSS, which probably dates from the first quarter of the twentieth century.
Description
The cross is identical to the crosses with monument numbers 525222 and 525236. The openwork cast-iron funerary cross has an image of Christ in the centre, who, with His cloak and tunic laid aside, displays His Sacred Heart. The cross is further decorated with floral motifs and a chalice with a host. In the base, standing, are depicted Peter and Paul.
Valuation
The cast-iron funerary monument is of general interest. It has cultural-historical value as a remarkable expression of a social and spiritual development, in particular the development of Catholic funeral culture, and it is furthermore of importance for the typological development of the cast-iron funerary monument.
