Inleiding
Aan de westelijke zijde van het erf van het complex staat, met de kopse gevel aan de straat gesitueerd, een langwerpig KARSCHOP uit omstreeks 1875.
Omschrijving
Het eenlaags object heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond en is afgedekt met een zadeldak, belegd met oud Hollandse pannen. De eindgevels zijn voorzien van een nokruiter en hardstenen afdeklijsten. In de straatgevel bevindt zich een getoogde opgeklampte inrijpoort. Ook in de oostelijke gevel, grenzend aan het erf, zijn twee inrijpoorten aangebracht.
Waardering
Het karschop is van algemeen belang. Het gebouw heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als voorbeeld van de sociaal-economische ontwikkeling van de landbouw in oostelijk Brabant en als voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van de boerderij in het stroomgebied van de Maas. The single-storey object has a rectangular ground plan and is covered with a gabled roof, laid with old Dutch tiles. The end facades are provided with a roof ridge tile and hardstone drip mouldings. In the street facade there is a segmental arched attached cart entrance. Two cart entrances are also provided in the eastern facade, bordering the yard.
Valuation
The manure scoop is of general importance. The building has cultural-historical importance as an example of the socio-economic development of agriculture in eastern Brabant and as an example of the typological development of the farmhouse in the Meuse river area. It has ensemble value as a component of a complex that is of importance because of the integrity of the whole consisting of different components.
