Inleiding
Deel uitmakend van het sluiscomplex, zgn. 'Begraafplaatssluis', een SCHOTBALKLOODS gebouwd als onderdeel van de schutsluis tussen 1892 en 1893 in Traditioneel Ambachtelijke stijl.
Omschrijving
Rechthoekige houten loods van een bouwlaag. Het overstekende zadeldak wordt gedragen door korbelen en is gedekt met gesmoorde kruispannen. Het pandje staat op een betonnen voet en heeft wanden van latwerk dat met schuin geplaatste planken als ventilatieroosters is ingevuld. De beide kopse gevels (oost en west) hebben een beschot met een gekartelde onderrand en in het zicht gebleven kapspanten eindigend in een eenvoudige makelaar. In de westelijke gevel is de entree geplaatst die bestaat uit een dubbele houten deur met beslag.

Part of the lock complex, known as 'Begraafplaatssluis', a SLUICE-BEAM STORE built as part of the lock chamber between 1892 and 1893 in Traditional Craft style.
Description
Rectangular wooden store of one storey. The overhanging gabled roof is carried by corbels and is covered with muffled crossed roof tiles. The small building stands on a concrete base and has walls of latticework filled with obliquely placed planks as ventilation grilles. Both end facades (east and west) have boarding with a serrated lower edge and visible roof trusses ending in a simple principal. In the western facade the entrance is placed, which consists of a double wooden door with fittings.
