Inleiding complexonderdeel 5
(Voormalig) KOETSHUIS behorend bij de historische buitenplaats De Wittenburg, gebouwd in 1899-1900 naar ontwerp van J.J. van Nieukerken in een aan de bouwstijl van het landhuis verwante bouwstijl (Hollandse Neo-Renaissance). Het pand ligt aan de oostzijde van de basse-court.
Omschrijving
Koetshuis van één bouwlaag op langgerekte rechthoekige plattegrond onder zadeldak met kruispannen. Hoog opgaand middenrisaliet met poort onder schilddak met leien en kopgevels met trapgevels. De gevels zijn opgetrokken in grauwe baksteen. Decoratieve smeedijzeren sierankers. Schuiframen en samengestelde vensterpartijen met kleine roedenverdeling en luiken onder segmentbogen en strekken.
Symmetrische voorgevel (west) met in het middenrisaliet een dubbel rondboogvormige inrijdeur onder venster met houten kruiskozijn. In de geveldelen aan weerszijden vensters en in het dakschild dakkapellen onder schilddakjes.

(Former) COACH HOUSE belonging to the historic country house De Wittenburg, built in 1899-1900 to a design by J.J. van Nieukerken in a building style related to that of the manor house (Hollandse Neo-Renaissance). The building is located on the east side of the basse-court.
Description
Coach house of one storey on an elongated rectangular plan under a gabled roof with cross tiles. High-rising central risalit with gateway under hipped roof with slates and end gables with stepped gables. The facades are constructed in grey brick. Decorative wrought-iron ornamental wall anchors. Sash windows and composite window arrangements with small glazing bars and shutters under segmental arches and stretches.
Symmetrical front elevation (west) with in the central risalit a double semicircular entrance arch under window with wooden cross window. In the facade sections on either side windows and in the roof shield roof dormers under small hipped roofs.
