Bij het landhuis Nijenstede behorende TUINAANLEG met MUUR en TOEGANGSHEK tot stand gekomen in het eerste kwart van de 20e eeuw in Nieuw Architectonische stijl. De muur met het hek vormt de begrenzing van de tuin aan de straatzijde.
Omschrijving
De tuin aan de oostzijde van het pand heeft een in het verlengde van het terras aangelegde geometrische uitleg die omgeven is door diverse struiken en bomen. Door middel van flagstones en geschoren hagen wordt de as, eindigend in een halve cirkel met aan weerszijden vierkante perken afgezet. In de as is een kleine vierkante vijver opgenomen.
Aan de straatzijde wordt de tuin begrensd door een halfhoge bakstenen muur die vanaf de garage parallel aan de straat loopt. Naast de garage bevindt zich een smeedijzeren hek tussen opgemetselde hekpijlers. In de zuidelijke hoek van het perceel is een tweede entree die bestaat uit bakstenen hekpijlers waarop lantaarns geplaatst zijn.

GARDEN LAYOUT with WALL and ENTRANCE GATE belonging to the country house Nijenstede created in the first quarter of the 20th century in New Architectural style. The wall with the gate forms the boundary of the garden on the street side.
Description
The garden on the east side of the building has a geometric layout arranged in line with the terrace, surrounded by various shrubs and trees. By means of flagstones and clipped hedges, the axis is marked, ending in a semicircle with square beds on either side. A small square pond is incorporated in the axis.
On the street side the garden is bounded by a half-height brick wall that runs parallel to the street from the garage. Next to the garage is a wrought iron gate between built-up gate piers. In the southern corner of the plot is a second entrance consisting of brick gate piers with lanterns placed on them.
