Inleiding complexonderdeel 1
LANDHUIS De Vrije Blick, in Engelse Landhuisstijl in 1917 gebouwd naar ontwerp van W.A. Lensvelt. Oorspronkelijk was aan de zuidoostgevel van het landhuis een loggia met rondbogen geplaatst. Deze is later verhoogd met een verdieping en de rondbogen zijn vervangen door recht gesloten vensters.
N.B. De aan dezelfde gevel aangebouwde loods van golfplaat is voor de bescherming van ondergeschikt belang.
Omschrijving
Groot onderkelderd landhuis van twee bouwlagen, samengesteld uit verschillende bouwdelen onder met rode leipannen gedekte zadel- en schilddaken die in hoogte en richting verspringen. De dakschilden hebben een iets uitzwenkende dakvoet. De gevels zijn opgetrokken in rode baksteen. De plint wordt afgesloten door een rollaag, boven de gevelopeningen strekken die de vorm van de bovendorpel volgen. Enkele en samengestelde vensterpartijen en glasdeuren met kleine roedenverdeling. De voorgevel (zuidwest) bestaat van links naar rechts uit drie onderdelen: een puntgevel met forse schoorsteenpartij geflankeerd door dubbele 4-ruits vensters, een loggia van drie rondbogen onder een balkon en rechts een gedeelte van twee bouwlagen met middenrisaliet onder een schilddak. De hoofdentree bevindt zich in de loggia. In het dwars geplaatste dak boven het balkon een dakkapel met dubbel venster. In de middenrisaliet de dienstingang in een portiek onder rondboog tussen twee kruisvensters. Aan weerszijden van de risaliet vensters van verschillend formaat. Aan de linker zijgevel (zuidwest) een sterk uitgebouwde erkerpartij onder zadeldak. In de voorgevel van de erker een dubbele glasdeur tussen twee zijlichten en in de zijgevels driedelige vensters. De achtergevel (noordoost) is net als de voorgevel opgebouwd uit verschillende onderdelen. Helemaal rechts een puntgevel met grote samengestelde vensterpartij waarvan de bovenlichten zijn gevuld met glas-in-loodramen. In de geveltop een grote halfronde vensterpartij met vijf glas-in-loodramen. In de middenas van de gevel een sterk risalerend bouwdeel onder overstekend schilddak met driezijdige erker en balkon. Aan weerszijden van de risaliet twee loggia's onder doorgetrokken dakschilden met dakkapellen. Helemaal links een bouwdeel van twee bouwlagen met samengestelde vensterpartijen onder overstekend schilddak. Aan de noordoostgevel een volume van twee bouwlagen onder een schilddak. Op begane grond en verdieping recht gesloten vensters. Op het dak in totaal drie grote gemetselde schoorstenen.

Het landhuis De Vrije Blick is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuur- en architectuurhistorische waarde

COUNTRY HOUSE De Vrije Blick, in English Country House style, built in 1917 after a design by W.A. Lensvelt. Description
Large cellared country house of two storeys, composed of different building sections under gabled roofs and hipped roofs covered with red slate tiles, which are offset in height and direction. The roof planes have a slightly flared roof eave. The facades are constructed of red brick. The plinth is finished with a course, above the facade openings they extend following the form of the upper sill. Individual and composite window sections and glass doors with small glazing bars. The front facade (southwest) consists from left to right of three sections: a stepped gable with substantial chimney stack flanked by double 4-pane windows, a loggia of three round arches under a balcony and on the right a section of two storeys with central projection under a hipped roof. The main entrance is situated in the loggia. In the transversely placed roof above the balcony a dormer window with double window. In the central projection the service entrance in a portico under round arch between two cross windows. On either side of the projection windows of varying size. On the left side facade (southwest) a strongly projecting bay section under a gabled roof. In the front facade of the bay a double glass door between two sidelights and in the side facades three-part windows. The rear facade (northeast) is constructed, like the front facade, from different sections. In the gable apex a large semicircular window section with five leaded glass windows.
