Inleiding complexonderdeel 2
SPEELHUISJE in Cottagestijl staande bij het villacomplex Haeseoord is rond 1940 op de huidige plek geplaatst (oorspronkelijk van elders afkomstig). Het huisje is opgetrokken in hout en gebouwd omstreeks 1920. De noordgevel van het huisje is in latere tijd verlengd.
Omschrijving
Vrijstaande éénlaags pandje met een vrijwel rechthoekige plattegrond. Het overstekende zadeldak wordt gedekt door een met rubberoid shingels. De kopse voorzijde heeft een ruim overstek, voorzien van houten windveren, topmakelaar en een gesloten voorschot. Boven een bakstenen plint bestaan de wanden uit gepotdekselde delen. De ramen zijn afgehangen met rood/wit/groen geschilderde luiken met zandlopermotief. Eronder hangen rood geschilderde bloembakken. De symmetrisch ingedeelde puntgevel (zuid) heeft in het midden een tweedelige deur met in het bovendeel één ruit. Aan weerszijden ervan bevindt zich een smal éénruits raam. De beide langsgevels (oost, west) hebben dubbel openslaande ramen, waarvan het linker in de oostelijke langsgevel nog voorzien is van glas-in-lood. De oorspronkelijke achtergevel (noord) heeft rechts een deuropening met links daarvan een dubbel raam.
INWENDIG zijn nog verschillende oorspronkelijke interieuronderdelen aanwezig, zoals de houten vloer, een vast hoekkastje en een uitgebouwd washoekje met wasbak. Verder is het rookkanaal tussen het vensterpenant aan de oostzijde deels nog intact.
Waardering
Het speelhuisje is van algemeen belang vanwege de architectuur-, cultuurhistorische en typologische waarde als karakteristiek voorbeeld van een voor tuinvermaak bestemd bijgebouwtje in Cottagestijl uit de jaren '20 van de 20ste eeuw.
Het speelhuisje heeft ensemblewaarde als ruimtelijk en functioneel onderdeel bij het villacomplex 'Haeseoord'.

A PLAYHOUSE in Cottage style located at the villa complex Haeseoord was placed at its present location around 1940 (originally from elsewhere). The playhouse is constructed in wood and built around 1920. The north facade of the playhouse was extended at a later time.
Description
Freestanding single-storey cottage with a virtually rectangular floor plan. The overhanging gabled roof is covered with rubberoid shingles. The gable-end frontage has a generous overhang, fitted with wooden wind braces, topmaker and a closed apron. Above a brick plinth the walls consist of potdeckeled sections. The windows are hung with red/white/green painted shutters with hourglass motif. Below them hang red painted window boxes. The symmetrically arranged pointed gable (south) has in the middle a two-part door with one pane in the upper part. On either side of it is a narrow single-pane window. Both side facades (east, west) have double casement windows, of which the left one on the east side is still fitted with leaded glass. The original rear facade (north) has a door opening on the right with a double window to its left.
INTERNALLY various original interior components are still present, such as the wooden floor, a fixed corner cabinet and an extended wash corner with washbasin. Furthermore the smoke duct between the window penant on the east side is still partly intact.

The playhouse is of general importance because of its architectural, cultural-historical and typological value as a characteristic example of a garden ornament in Cottage style from the 1920s.
