Bij de rooms-katholieke H. Willibrorduskerk behorende BEGRAAFPLAATS in oorsprong daterend uit de 18de eeuw maar met een grotendeels 20ste eeuwse verschijningsvorm. Omgeven door een MUUR met HEK.
Omschrijving
Rechthoekige BEGRAAFPLAATS omgeven door een oudere 18de-eeuwse bakstenen tuinmuur aan de oostzijde waarlangs een rij kastanjebomen is aangeplant. Aan de noordzijde grenst de begraafplaats aan de bij de kerk horende tuin die beplant is met onder meer naaldbomen en een lindeboom. Tussen de begraafplaats en de tuin bevinden zich resten van een muur en hekpijlers. De laatsten zijn opgemetseld in baksteen met natuurstenen afdekplaten in de vorm van een tentdakje.
De aanleg van de begraafplaats is grotendeels ortogonaal met haaks op elkaar lopende paden die de rechthoekige perken van elkaar scheiden.
In de zuidelijke hoek van de begraafplaats een piëta omgeven door vier beuken.
Waardering
De begraafplaats bij de H. Willibrorduskerk is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische waarde historisch-functioneel en historisch- ruimtelijk onderdeel van het kerkelijk complex aan de Kerkstraat in het centrum van Wassenaar.

BEGRAVING GROUND belonging to the Roman Catholic H. Willibrorduskerk, originally dating from the 18th century but with a largely 20th-century appearance. Surrounded by a WALL with GATE.
Description
Rectangular BURIAL GROUND surrounded by an older 18th-century brick garden wall on the east side along which a row of chestnut trees is planted. On the north side the burial ground borders the garden belonging to the church which is planted with among other things coniferous trees and a linden tree. Between the burial ground and the garden are remains of a wall and gate piers. The latter are built up in brick with natural stone coping plates in the form of a tent roof.
The layout of the burial ground is largely orthogonal with paths running at right angles to each other that separate the rectangular plots from one another.
In the southern corner of the burial ground a pietà surrounded by four beeches.
Valuation
The burial ground at the H. Willibrorduskerk is of general importance on account of cultural-historical value as a historically-functional and historically-spatial component of the ecclesiastical complex on the Kerkstraat in the centre of Wassenaar.
