Inleiding complexonderdeel 5
Ambachtelijk-traditioneel uitgevoerde SCHUUR uit circa 1919 behorend bij de buitenplaats Arcadia. De schuur staat ten noordwesten van de tuinmanswoning (Groen van Prinstererlaan 2) in de zuidhoek van de tuin.
Omschrijving
Vrijstaande rechthoekige eenlaags bouwmassa onder een zadeldak met gesmoorde Hollandse pannen, waarvan de nokrichting in noordoost/zuidwestelijke richting staat. Boven een bakstenen plint bestaan de wanden uit geteerde gepotdekselde delen. De beide geveltoppen hebben een wit geschilderde top van wit geschilderde verticaal beschot met een ruitvormig zolderraampje. Houten windveren. De noordoostelijke kopgevel heeft een opgeklampte deur. Beide langsgevels hebben ramen met roedenverdeling.

De schuur is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuur- en architectuurhistorische waarde als voorbeeld van een schuur in Ambachtelijke-Traditionele bouwtrant uit het begin van de 20ste eeuw .

Craftsman-traditional executed BARN dating from circa 1919 belonging to the country estate Arcadia. The barn is situated to the northwest of the gardener's house (Groen van Prinstererlaan 2) in the south corner of the garden.
Description
Detached rectangular single-storey building mass under a gabled roof with muffled Dutch tiles, the ridge direction of which runs in a northeast/southwest direction. Above a brick plinth the walls consist of tarred pot-covered sections. Both gable tops have a white-painted top of white-painted vertical boarding with a diamond-shaped attic window. Wooden wind braces. The northeastern copy gable has a clasp-fastened door. Both long gables have windows with glazing bars.

The barn is of general importance because of its cultural and architectural-historical value as an example of a barn in Craftsman-Traditional building style from the early 20th century.
