Inleiding
De rij WONINGEN aan de Parkweg maken deel uit van het U-vormige woningcomplex gebouwd in 1917-1918 gebouwd in een bouwstijl, die een vereenvoudigde variant is van de architectuur van de Amsterdamse School.
Omschrijving
De in schone baksteen opgetrokken woningen tellen twee, respectievelijk drie bouwlagen. De hoog opgaande, drie bouwlagen tellende buitenste bouwdelen staan onder een schild-/wolfdak, de eveneens hoog opgaande middenpartij staat onder een tentdak en de lagere delen aan weerszijden onder zadeldak. Alle gevelopeningen zijn rechtgesloten en staan onder strekken. De vensters zijn bovendien voorzien van uitgemetselde lekdorpels. De ingangspartijen bevatten twee en drie, onder bovenlicht staande, terugliggende deuren, waartussen gemetselde penanten. De middenpartij wordt geaccentueerd door twee erkers met schuine zijden. Ze dragen een balkon met gemetselde borstwering, waarop openslaande, binnen zij- en bovenlichten staande deuren uitkomen. In de bovenste bouwlaag staan twee brede, drieruits vensters. Uit het rechter deel van de gevel steken eveneens twee erkers met balkon en openslaande deuren als voornoemde. Boven de linker balkondeuren bevindt zich een loggia, waarvan de gemetselde borstwering is opengewerkt en wordt geflankeerd door met bollen bekroonde hoekbalusters. De openslaande deuren hierachter zijn eveneens te vergelijken met de al eerder genoemde.

De rij woningen is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische, de architectuurhistorische en de stedebouwkundige waarde:

They support a balcony with mortared parapet, onto which open French doors with sidelights and fanlights open. In the top storey stand two broad, three-light windows. From the right section of the facade likewise project two oriels with balcony and open French doors as aforementioned. Above the left balcony doors is situated a loggia, of which the mortared parapet is open-worked and is flanked by corner balusters crowned with spheres.
