Inleiding
Klein WONINGBLOK bestaande uit 2 arbeiderswoningen, onderdeel van het woningbouwcomplex 't Rooie Dorp. Het woningblok maakt onderdeel uit van het rechter hofje en is op de oostelijke hoek van het complex direct aan de Venenlaan gelegen.
Omschrijving
Woningblok van 2 woningen onder een zadeldak met de nokrichting evenwijdig aan de straat, waarbij de rechter woning wordt gedekt door een ingestoken zadeldak met de nokrichting haaks op de straat. De voorgevel van deze woning risaleert en heeft evenals de linker woning in de geveltop een driehoekig beschot. De voordeuren bevinden zich in de linker zijde van de risaliet en links in de puntgevel aan de zijde van het hofje. Boven het dubbele T-venster op de begane grond heeft de rechter woning twee gekoppelde zesruits verdiepingvensters. De puntgevel aan het hofje bezit middenboven twee gekoppelde zesruits ramen.
Voor het overige gelden dezelfde kenmerken als beschreven in de complexomschrijving onder monumentnummer 524421.
Waardering
Het woningblok is van algemeen belang wegens cultuurhistorische, architectuurhistorische en typologische waarde, tevens van belang wegens stedenbouwkundige en ensemblewaarde als onderdeel van het woningbouwcomplex " 't Rooie Dorp.

Description
Housing block of 2 dwellings under a gabled roof with the ridge direction parallel to the street, whereby the right dwelling is covered by an inset gabled roof with the ridge direction at right angles to the street. The front facade of this dwelling projects and has, like the left dwelling, a triangular boarding at the gable top. The front doors are located on the left side of the projection and on the left in the pointed gable on the side of the courtyard. Above the double T-window on the ground storey the right dwelling has two coupled six-pane first-floor windows. The pointed gable at the courtyard has centrally above two coupled six-pane windows.
