Inleiding
WONINGBLOK oorspronkelijk bestaande uit 4 arbeiderswoningen (thans 2 woningen en 4 garages) onderdeel van het woningbouwcomplex 't Rooie Dorp. Het blok is parallel aan de Venenlaan gesitueerd aan de noordwestzijde van het rechter hofje.
Omschrijving
Het symmetrisch opgebouwde blok waarvan de twee middelste woningen worden gedekt door zadeldaken bekroond met een schoorsteen groter dan de overige schoorstenen van het complex. Tegen beide zadeldaken sluit een schilddak aan met de noklijn evenwijdig aan de straat. De risalerende voorgevels van de twee middelste woningen zijn voorzien van een voordeur, een dubbel T-venster en daarboven op de eerste verdieping twee gekoppelde zesruits ramen waarboven in de geveltop een driehoekig beschot. Midden tussen de twee genoemde vensters op de begane grond bevindt zich een deur met drieruits bovenlicht, waarachter een gang naar het achtererf.
Voor het overige gelden dezelfde kenmerken als beschreven in de complexomschrijving onder monumentnummer 524421.
Waardering
Het woningblok is van algemeen belang wegens cultuurhistorische, architectuurhistorische en typologische waarde, tevens van belang wegens stedenbouwkundige en ensemblewaarde als onderdeel van het woningbouwcomplex "'t Rooie Dorp.

HOUSING BLOCK originally consisting of 4 workers' dwellings (now 2 dwellings and 4 garages), part of the housing complex 't Rooie Dorp. The block is situated parallel to the Venenlaan on the northwest side of the right courtyard.
Description
The symmetrically constructed block of which the two middle dwellings are covered by gabled roofs crowned with a chimney larger than the other chimneys of the complex. Against both gabled roofs adjoins a hipped roof with the ridge line parallel to the street. The projecting front facades of the two middle dwellings are provided with a front door, a double T-window and above on the first floor two coupled six-pane windows, above which in the gable top is a triangular timber cladding. In the middle between the two aforementioned windows on the ground floor is a door with three-pane fanlight, behind which is a passage to the rear courtyard.

Valuation
