Omschrijving onderdeel 8: GRAFHEUVEL en DAM met HEK.
In 1809 is door Remia Juliana Arntzenia van Burmania ten oosten van het huis een grafheuvel aangelegd (zie inscriptie eerste grafsteen), waarop beuken, abelen, iepen en treuressen werden geplant. Op de inmiddels door monumentaal geboomte omzoomde grafheuvel liggen 10 zerken, waarvan de oudste uit 1816. De grafheuvel is toegankelijk via een bakstenen vleugeldam, waarop een eenvoudig dubbel ijzeren spijlenhek tussen natuurstenen hekpalen; zijstukken.
Waardering
GRAFHEUVEL en DAM met HEK zijn van algemeen belang:
- vanwege de ouderdom;
- vanwege de funerair-historische betekenis verbonden met de families Martena en Burmania;

Description
Description component 8: BURIAL MOUND and DAM with GATE.
In 1809 a burial mound was laid out by Remia Juliana Arntzenia van Burmania east of the house (see inscription first gravestone), on which beeches, maples, elms and weeping willows were planted. On the burial mound, now bordered by monumental trees, lie 10 gravestones, the oldest dating from 1816. The burial mound is accessible via a brick wing dam, on which a simple double iron rail gate between natural stone gate piers; side sections.
Valuation
BURIAL MOUND and DAM with GATE are of general importance:

- because of the contrast between the closed, medieval-seeming, character of the burial mound and the relatively open surroundings;
