TUINMANSWONING uit 1890, deel uitmakend van het complex "Landhuis Oud-Crailo".
Omschrijving
De tuinmanswoning heeft een onregelmatig rechthoekige plattegrond en telt één bouwlaag met zolderverdieping onder een samengesteld zadeldak met rode en gesmoorde kruispannen. De gevels zijn boven een natuurstenen plint opgetrokken in bruine baksteen met horizontale sierbanden van lichtgrijze baksteen. De overstekende kap is boven de geveltoppen uitgevoerd met decoratieve sierspanten en makelaars in chaletstijl. Op de nok van het dak staat een klokkenstoel onder zadeldakje. De uitkragende dakrand rust op decoratief uitgevoerde consoles. Boven de vensters bevinden zich rondboogvormige ontlastingsbogen die in twee tinten baksteen zijn gemetseld. De brede oostgevel heeft een symmetrisch indeling met een middenrisaliet voorzien van een puntgevel en sierspant. In de risaliet op de begane grond een dubbele glasdeur (met bovenlicht en luiken) en op de verdieping een stolpvenster met bovenlicht. Aan weerszijden van de deur schuifvensters met luiken en in de linker een sierroedenverdeling in het bovenlicht. In het dakschild aan weerszijden van de steekkap boven de risaliet een kleine dakkapel onder uitkragend schilddakje met piron.
De noordgevel bestaat links uit een risalerende topgevel met sierspant, waarin een vensteras. In het terugliggende deel rechts een houten deur.
De westgevel bevat links een T-venster met luiken en rechts een klein tweeruits venster onder segmentboogvormig spaarveld.
De zuidgevel was oorspronkelijk de voorgevel en hier bevindt zich de hoofdentree van de woning in een uitgebouwd portiek onder lessenaardak. Het portiek heeft een rondboogvormige opening en een hoekkolom met natuurstenen kapiteel. In de lange zijde van het portiek een natuurstenen balustrade. Rechts van de ingangspartij een topgevel met sierspant en op de begane grond twee vensters met sierroedenverdeling in de bovenlichten en luiken. In de geveltop een zoldervenster.
Waardering
De tuinmanswoning is van algemeen belang vanwege de architectuur- en cultuurhistorische waarde als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van het complex "Landhuis Oud-Crailo" en als uitwendig gaaf bewaard gebleven voorbeeld van een laat 19de-eeuwse tuinmanswoning in eclectische trant met chaletstijl-invloed, ontworpen door architect C. Muysken.

Description
The gardener's house has an irregular rectangular floor plan and comprises one storey with attic storey under a composite gabled roof with red and dulled cross pantiles. The facades are above a natural stone plinth built in brown brickwork with horizontal decorative bands of light grey brickwork. The overhanging roof is executed above the gable tops with decorative ornamental braces and corbels in chalet style. On the ridge of the roof stands a bell tower under a small gabled roof. The projecting roof edge rests on decoratively executed corbels. Above the windows are round arch shaped relieving arches that are built in two shades of brickwork. The wide east facade has a symmetrical arrangement with a central risalit provided with a pointed gable and ornamental brace. In the risalit on the ground floor a double glass door (with fanlight and shutters) and on the upper floor a half-dormer window with fanlight. On either side of the door sash windows with shutters and in the left one a decorative glazing pattern in the fanlight. In the roof slope on either side of the roof light above the risalit a small dormer window under projecting hipped rooflet with finial.
The north facade consists on the left of a projecting gable with ornamental brace, in which a window bay. In the recessed part on the right a wooden door.
The west facade contains on the left a T-window with shutters and on the right a small two-pane window under segmental arch shaped relieving field.
The south facade was originally the front facade and here is located the main entrance of the house in a projecting porch under a lean-to roof. The porch has a round arch shaped opening and a corner column with natural stone capital. In the long side of the porch a natural stone balustrade. To the right of the entrance feature a gable with ornamental brace and on the ground floor two windows with decorative glazing pattern in the fanlights and shutters. In the gable top an attic window.
Valuation
The gardener's house is of general importance because of its architectural and cultural historical value as a historically-functional component of the complex "Landhuis Oud-Crailo" and as an outwardly intact preserved example of a late 19th-century gardener's house in eclectic style with chalet style influence, designed by architect C. Muysken.
