HISTORISCHE PARK- EN TUINAANLEG uit omstreeks 1856 respectievelijk 1929, deel uitmakend van het complex "Landhuis Oud-Crailo".
Omschrijving
Van de 19de-eeuwse landschappelijke parkaanleg van J.D. Zocher jr. is door de verkaveling van het landgoed slechts een klein gedeelte bewaard gebleven. Duidelijk herkenbaar is de rechte lindenlaan met dubbele boombeplanting die vanaf de Beukenlaan naar de zuidoostgevel van het huis leidt. Het vervolg van deze laan langs de voorgevel van het huis naar de tuinmanswoning is ook nog aanwezig. De gebogen oprijlaan vanaf de Museumlaan en enkele solitairen en boomgroepen zijn eveneens restanten van de 19de-eeuwse landschappelijke parkaanleg. De tuinaanleg in Nieuw Architectonische tuinstijl voor de zuidwestgevel van het huis heeft een kwartcirkelvormige hoofdvorm en wordt aan drie zijden begrensd door wandelpaden. Aan weerszijden van de veranda geven gemetselde trappen in etappes toegang tot de lager gelegen tuinaanleg. De trappen leiden naar de buitenste rechte paden die schuin weglopen. Gezien vanuit het huis wordt het rechter pad geflankeerd door een manshoge haag en langs het linker pad ligt een gemetseld muurtje als afscheiding van het iets hoger gelegen tuingedeelte voor de zuidoostgevel. Voor de veranda een betonnen bloembak en langs de schuine paden brede bloemenborders en lage struiken. Het rechte pad in de middenas van de zuidwestgevel wordt ongeveer halverwege onderbroken door een vierkant bassin en eindigt bij een sierbol op sokkel en een berceau. Rondom het huis staan enkele oudere solitairen en boomgroepen.
Waardering
De restanten van de 19de-eeuwse parkaanleg van Zocher jr. en de tuinaanleg uit 1929 zijn, als historisch-functionele onderdelen van het complex "Landhuis Oud-Crailo", van algemeen belang vanwege de tuinhistorische waarde en de gaafheid van met name de tuin in Nieuw Architectonische tuinstijl, door tuinarchitect Reyers in nauwe samenhang met het huis ontworpen.

Of the 19th-century landscape park layout by J.D. Zocher jr. only a small part has been preserved due to the parcellation of the estate. The straight lime-tree avenue with double tree planting that leads from the Beukenlaan to the southeast facade of the house is clearly recognisable. The continuation of this avenue along the front facade of the house to the head gardener's cottage is also still present. The curved approach road from the Museumlaan and some solitary trees and tree groups are also remnants of the 19th-century landscape park layout. The garden layout in New Architectural garden style for the southwest facade of the house has a quarter-circle main form and is bounded on three sides by walking paths. On either side of the veranda masonry steps in stages provide access to the lower-lying garden layout. The steps lead to the outer straight paths which slope away at an angle. Viewed from the house the right path is flanked by a man-high hedge and along the left path lies a masonry wall as a partition of the slightly higher-lying garden section for the southeast facade. In front of the veranda a concrete flower box and along the sloping paths broad flower borders and low shrubs. The straight path in the central axis of the southwest facade is interrupted approximately halfway by a square basin and ends at an ornamental ball on plinth and a berceau.
