Inleiding
Twee vermoedelijk 19de-eeuwse GRENSPALEN die deel uitmaken van het complex "Landhuis Oud-Crailo". De hardstenen palen staan aan weerszijden van de Museumlaan, ter hoogte van de kruising met de Noord-Crailoseweg, die een oude grens van het landgoed Oud-Crailo markeren.
Omschrijving
Beide grenspalen zijn uitgevoerd in hardsteen en bestaan uit een vierkante schacht en een iets grotere dekplaat. Het bovenvlak van de dekplaat vertoont een diagonaal verdeeld afschot. De grenspalen zijn afgewerkt met een vertikale frijnslag met uizondering van de hoeken die een horizontale frijnslag hebben. Op de palen staat in bas-relief "Crailoo" vermeld.
Waardering
De twee grenspalen zijn van algemeen belang wegens cultuurhistorische waarde als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van het complex "Landhuis Oud-Crailo" en als markering van de grens van het oude landgoed Crailoo.

Two presumably 19th-century BOUNDARY STONES which are part of the complex "Landhuis Oud-Crailo". The hardstone posts stand on either side of the Museumlaan, at the level of the intersection with the Noord-Crailoseweg, marking an old boundary of the estate Oud-Crailo.
Description
Both boundary stones are executed in hardstone and consist of a square shaft and a slightly larger cap plate. The upper surface of the cap plate shows a diagonally divided slope. The boundary stones are finished with vertical fine chiselling with the exception of the corners which have horizontal fine chiselling. On the posts "Crailoo" is indicated in bas-relief.
Valuation
The two boundary stones are of general importance because of their cultural historical value as a historically-functional component of the complex "Landhuis Oud-Crailo" and as a marking of the boundary of the old estate Crailoo.
