Inleiding
Houten GARAGE uit 1921, deel uitmakend van het complex "Blokhuis Naarderstraat 311". In 1989 is de garage aan de achterzijde verlengd met een halfopen aanbouw. Het interieur is verbouwd tot kantoorruimte.
N.B. De bovengenoemde aanbouw is voor de bescherming van ondergeschikt belang.
Omschrijving
Op rechthoekig grondplan opgetrokken garage van één bouwlaag onder een rietgedekt zadeldak met rondom een ruim overstek en de noklijn haaks op de weg. De buitengevels zijn samengesteld uit stijlen waartussen brede liggende delen. Het driehoekige voorschot van de voorgevel is bekleed met staande delen. De voorgevel (N) is voorzien van een opgeklampte dubbele garagedeur afgehangen aan duimgehengen. In het midden van beide zijgevels bevindt zich een uit drie gekoppelde achtruits ramen samengesteld venster. Onder het venster in de rechterzijgevel (W) hangt een houten bloembak waarvan de voor- en zijkanten samengesteld zijn uit cirkelmotieven.
De kap is beschoten met rabatplanken.

Description
Garage erected on a rectangular ground plan of one storey beneath a thatched gabled roof with a generous overhang on all sides and the ridge line perpendicular to the road. The external walls consist of studs with broad recumbent boards between them. The triangular gable of the front facade is clad with vertical boards. The front facade (N) is provided with a clamped double garage door hung on thumb hinges. In the middle of both side facades is a window composed of three coupled eight-pane windows. Below the window in the right side facade (W) hangs a wooden flower box whose front and sides are composed of circular motifs.
The roof is boarded with rebated planks.
Valuation
The garage is of general interest by virtue of its cultural and architectural-historical value as a historically-functional component of the complex "Blokhuis Naarderstraat 311".
