Complexonderdeel 2
De VEESCHUUR van het boerderijcomplex Middelbroek uit 1876 ligt op enige afstand van de weg aan de noordzijde van de Leusbroekerweg. Rechts van de veeschuur staat in dezelfde rooilijn de boerderij. De veeschuur op een rechthoekig grondplan heeft een afgewolfd zadeldak gedekt met moderne grijze betonpannen. De gevels zijn opgetrokken van grauwe baksteen in kruisverband, afkomstig van de oude boerderij. De voorgevel (zuidzijde) heeft in het midden een getoogde dubbele deeldeur met daarboven een hooiluik en met aan weerszijden een getoogd gietijzeren venster. Geheel links is modern venster geplaatst. Rechts bevindt zich het tweelichtsvenster van het vertrek in de schuur, waar zich oorspronkelijk de waterstookplaats bevond. De achtergevel is gedeeltelijk gewijzigd met vierkante betonnen stalramen op de begane grond. Op de zolderverdieping bevindt zich het oorspronkelijke zolderluik.
De rechterzijgevel heeft een zestal getoogde, opklampte staldeuren en een tweetal stalvensters. Tegen de linkerzijgevel is een schuur aangebouwd die voor de bescherming van ondergeschikt belang is.
Waardering
De schuur is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuur- en architectuurhistorische waarde als redelijk gaaf voorbeeld van een veeschuur uit het laatste kwart van de negentiende eeuw. Tevens is de veeschuur van ensemblewaarde in functionele en ruimtelijke samenhang met de naastgelegen boerderij en van landschappelijke waarde vanwege de markante situering langs de Leusbroekerweg.

Complex component 2
The CATTLE SHED of the farmstead complex Middelbroek from 1876 is situated at some distance from the road on the north side of the Leusbroekerweg. To the right of the cattle shed stands the farmstead in the same building line. The cattle shed on a rectangular ground plan has a curved gabled roof covered with modern grey concrete tiles. The facades are built up of grey brickwork in English bond, sourced from the old farmstead. The front elevation (south side) has in the centre an arched double divided door with above it a hay door and on either side an arched cast-iron window. Far left a modern window is placed. To the right is the two-light window of the room in the shed, where originally the water-heating place was located. The rear elevation is partly modified with square concrete stable windows on the ground floor. On the attic storey is the original attic door.
The right side elevation has half a dozen arched, attached stable doors and two stable windows. Against the left side elevation a shed is built which is of subordinate importance for the assessment.
Assessment
The shed is of general importance because of its cultural and architectural-historical value as a reasonably well-preserved example of a cattle shed from the last quarter of the nineteenth century. The cattle shed is also of ensemble value in functional and spatial connection with the adjacent farmstead and of landscape value because of the prominent situation along the Leusbroekerweg.
