Inleiding
Groep van zes twee aan twee gekoppelde identieke houten WOONHUIZEN, tijdelijk bedoeld, in 1918 gebouwd in de stijl van het Traditionalisme, ten behoeve van het personeel van de psychiatrische inrichting Duin en Bosch. De groep huizen is gelegen aan de noordzijde van de licht glooiende en gebogen Ramaerlaan. Aan de overzijde van de straat bevindt zich een groep van drie identieke dubbelwoningen (nrs. 1-11). Oorspronkelijk lagen de woningen op het terrein van de inrichting. De woningen bevinden zich in de groenaanleg van de privétuinen, die aansluit op de parkaanleg van de inrichting. De tuinen worden afgesloten door een ijzeren HEKJE als erfscheiding.

Omschrijving
Op een rechthoekige plattegrond opgetrokken gerabatte dubbelwoning onder een met rode verbeterde Hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak met eenvoudige windveren en in het midden van de nok een gemetselde schoorsteen. In de kap is een centrale dakkapel onder plat dak geplaatst met per woning dubbele zesruits draairamen met middennaald. Tegen de kopse zijgevels bevindt zich aan de achterzijde een kleine vierkante portaaluitbouw, ook onder een zadeldak met rode verbeterde Hollandse pannen. In deze uitbouw bevindt zich een vierruits paneeldeur.
De symmetrische voorgevel heeft per woning een vierruits paneeldeur op de hoek en daarnaast drie gekoppelde kozijnen met schuiframen. De kopse zijgevels hebben in de top een beschot van verticale delen, waarin zich drie zesruits draairamen bevinden. De achtergevels hebben per woning twee kleine houten vensters.
Op het erf bevindt zich een kleine houten berging voor tuingereedschap.
Waardering
De personeelswoningen uit 1918 met bijbehorende houten bergingen zijn van algemeen belang als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van het ziekenhuiscomplex Duin en Bosch. Verder vanwege de ensemblewaarde.

Originally the dwellings were on the grounds of the institution. The dwellings are situated in the landscaping of the private gardens, which connects to the park landscaping of the institution. The gardens are enclosed by an iron GATE as boundary fence.

Description
A semi-detached dwelling with a rectangular floor plan, constructed with roughcast finish, under a gabled roof covered with red improved Dutch tiles with simple wind bracing and in the middle of the ridge a masonry chimney. In the roof is a central roof dormer under a flat roof placed with per dwelling double six-pane casement windows with centre mullion. Against the gable end sides is on the rear a small square porch extension, also under a gabled roof with red improved Dutch tiles. In this extension is a four-pane panel door.
The symmetrical front facade has per dwelling a four-pane panel door on the corner and next to it three coupled window frames with sash windows. The gable end sides have in the top weatherboarding of vertical parts, in which are three six-pane casement windows. The rear facades have per dwelling two small wooden windows.
On the plot is a small wooden storage shed for garden tools.
Valuation
The staff dwellings from 1918 with associated wooden storage sheds are of general interest as a historical-functional component of the hospital complex Duin en Bosch. Further by virtue of their ensemble value.
