Inleiding
Groep van drie twee aan twee gekoppelde identieke houten WOONHUIZEN, in 1918 gebouwd in de stijl van het Traditionalisme ten behoeve van het personeel van de psychiatrische inrichting Duin en Bosch. De groep huizen is gelegen aan de zuidzijde van de licht glooiende en gebogen Ramaerlaan. Aan de overzijde van de straat bevindt zich een groep van zes identieke dubbelwoningen (nrs. 2-20, 26-28). Oorspronkelijk lagen de woningen op het terrein van de inrichting. De woningen bevinden zich in de groenaanleg van de privétuinen, die aansluit op de parkaanleg van de inrichting. De tuinen worden veelal afgesloten door een ijzeren HEKJE als erfscheiding.

Omschrijving
Op een rechthoekige plattegrond opgetrokken gerabatte dubbelwoning onder een met rode verbeterde Hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak met eenvoudige windveren en in het midden van de nok een gemetselde schoorsteen. In de kap is een centrale dakkapel onder plat dak geplaatst met per woning dubbele zesruits draairamen met middennaald. Aan de kopse kanten bevindt zich aan de achterzijde een kleine vierkante portaaluitbouw, ook onder een zadeldak met rode verbeterde Hollandse pannen. In deze uitbouw bevindt zich een vierruits paneeldeur.
De symmetrische voorgevel heeft per woning een vierruits paneeldeur op de hoek en daarnaast drie gekoppelde kozijnen met schuiframen. De kopse zijgevels hebben in de top een beschot van verticale delen, waarin zich drie eenvoudige ramen bevinden. De achtergevels hebben per woning twee kleine houten vensters.
Op het erf bevindt zich een kleine houten berging voor tuingereedschap.
Waardering
De personeelswoningen uit 1918 met bijbehorende houten bergingen zijn van algemeen belang als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van het ziekenhuiscomplex Duin en Bosch. Verder vanwege de ensemblewaarde.

Group of three pairs of identical wooden RESIDENTIAL HOUSES, built in 1918 in the style of Traditionalism for the staff of the psychiatric institution Duin en Bosch. The group of houses is located on the south side of the gently sloping and curved Ramaerlaan. Across the street is a group of six identical semi-detached houses (nos. 2-20, 26-28). Originally the houses were located on the grounds of the institution. The houses are situated in the landscaping of the private gardens, which adjoins the park layout of the institution. The gardens are often enclosed by an iron GATE as a boundary fence.

Description
On a rectangular ground plan constructed semi-detached residence under a gabled roof covered with red improved Dutch tiles with simple wind braces and in the middle of the ridge a brick chimney. In the roof a central roof dormer under a flat roof has been placed with per house double six-pane casement windows with centre mullion. At the gable ends at the rear is a small square porch extension, also under a gabled roof with red improved Dutch tiles. In this extension is a four-pane panel door.
The symmetrical front facade has per house a four-pane panel door at the corner and next to it three coupled window frames with sash windows. The gable end side walls have at the top boarding made of vertical sections, in which three simple windows are located. The rear facades have per house two small wooden windows.
On the site is a small wooden storage shed for garden tools.
Valuation
The staff residences from 1918 with associated wooden storage sheds are of general importance as a historical-functional component of the hospital complex Duin en Bosch. Furthermore on account of its ensemble value.
