Inleiding
De VILLA met bijbehorende ERFSCHEIDING gesitueerd in de villawijk 'De Boomberg', dateert in oorsprong uit omstreeks 1850 maar is rond 1880 verbouwd in eclectische trant. De villa ligt iets teruggerooid in een tuin die langs de straat is afgesloten door een ijzeren spijlenhek met twee toegangshekken.
Omschrijving
Villa van één bouwlaag en zolderverdieping op rechthoekige plattegrond onder gebroken zadeldak met gesmoorde Hollandse pannen, waarvan de noklijn evenwijdig aan de straat ligt. De witgepleisterde gevels hebben een grijs geschilderde plint. Overwegend T-vensters en deuren met glas-in-lood in de recht gesloten bovenlichten onder in het pleisterwerk geaccentueerde hanekammen.
De symmetrische voorgevel (N) telt vijf vensterassen met hoog opgaand middenrisaliet onder steekkap met houten sierlijst en makelaar. De middenrisaliet en hoekpilasters zijn gepleisterd in blokmotief met schijnvoeg. In de risaliet de oorpronkelijke paneeldeur met gietijzeren rooster en daarboven een getoogd venster.
Aan de linker zijgevel (O) een grote houten serre op gepleisterde plint en in de geveltop twee schuifvensters. In de achtergevel (Z) een dubbele glasdeur en links een lagere aanbouw met deur onder lessenaardak. In de westgevel op de begane grond een T-venster en in de geveltop twee zoldervensters als in de oostgevel.
De erfscheiding bestaat uit een ijzeren spijlenhek met gietijzeren kolommetjes aan weerszijden van het toegangshek met twee draaivleugels.
Waardering
De villa met bijbehorende erfscheiding is van algemeen belang vanwege de architectuur- en cultuurhistorische waarde als representatief en nagenoeg gaaf bewaard gebleven voorbeeld van een villa in schilderachtige eclectische trant. De villa is in hoge mate van stedenbouwkundig belang vanwege de ensemblewaarde als kenmerkend en beeldbepalend onderdeel van de gaaf bewaard gebleven villawijk 'De Boomberg'.

Description
Villa of one storey and attic storey on rectangular plan under a broken gabled roof with Dutch tiles, of which the ridge line is parallel to the street. The white-plastered facades have a grey-painted plinth. Predominantly T-windows and doors with stained glass in the straight-topped fanlights under in the plasterwork accentuated cock's combs.
The symmetrical front facade (N) has five window bays with tall rising central risalit under half-hipped roof with wooden moulding and tie beam. The central risalit and corner pilasters are plastered in ashlar pattern with false joints. In the risalit the original panelled door with cast-iron grille and above it an arched window.
On the left side facade (E) a large wooden conservatory on plastered plinth and in the gable top two sash windows. In the rear facade (S) a double glass door and on the left a lower extension with door under lean-to roof. In the west facade on the ground floor a T-window and in the gable top two attic windows as in the east facade.
The boundary fence consists of an iron paling fence with cast-iron small columns on either side of the access gate with two swing leaves.
Valuation
The villa with associated boundary fence is of general importance for its architectural and cultural-historical value as a representative and nearly intact example of a villa in picturesque eclectic style.
