Inleiding
TBC-HUISJE (boshutje) van het open type, bestemd voor de nazorgpatiënten, omstreeks 1927 gebouwd naar ontwerp van J. Duiker. Het zogenaamde boshutje is onderdeel van het complex Zonnestraal en bevindt zich achter het Ter Meulenpaviljoen en is exemplarisch voor de overige boshutjes.
Omschrijving
Klein kubusvormig TBC-huisje opgetrokken uit horizontale en verticale houten delen op een vierkante plattegrond onder een schilddakje met verhoogd middendeel voorzien van kleine uileborden. In de deels open voorgevel een halve deur onder luifel, geflankeerd door grote om de hoek lopende vensteropeningen.
Waardering
Het boshutje uit omstreeks 1927 is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische, architectuurhistorische en typologische waarde als grotendeels gaaf bewaard TBC-huisje en als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van het complex Zonnestraal, gebouwd naar ontwerp van J. Duiker.

Description
Small cubic TBC-hut constructed of horizontal and vertical wooden elements on a square ground plan under a small hipped roof with raised middle section provided with small owl boards. In the partly open front facade a half door under a canopy, flanked by large window openings running around the corner.
Valuation
The forest hut from around 1927 is of general interest owing to its cultural-historical, architectural-historical and typological value as a largely intact preserved TBC-hut and as a historically functional component of the complex Zonnestraal, built to the design of J. Duiker.
