Omschrijving
De kleine BEGRAAFPLAATS beslaat een rechthoekig terrein en wordt omsloten door een beukenhaag. Aan de zijde van de Deventerstraat bevindt zich een dubbel draaihek in de haag. In de aanleg is een indeling met een kruisvormig grindpad zichtbaar, waaraan dicht op elkaar en in rijen de graven zijn gesitueerd. De kruising wordt benadrukt door de aanwezigheid van een gietijzeren beeld van de gekruisigde Christus. Deze is geplaatst op een gepleisterde sokkel waarop een spreuk te lezen is. Nabij deze kruising liggen de rijker uitgevoerde priestergraven en de graven van de adel van de Cannenburg, waaronder een graf met een hardstenen neo-gotisch monument en een grafhek. De overige graven zijn voornamelijk eenvoudige graven met hardstenen grafplaten, uit de periode 1850 tot heden. Het toegangshek bestaat uit twee hekpijlers bekroond door gietijzeren doodshoofden met beenderen. Het draaiende deel van het hek bestaat uit twee vleugels, elk opgebouwd uit twee verticale stijlen met speerpunten en horizontaal verbonden door ijzeren regels, waarvan de bovenste gebogen is. Op het terrein staat een klein, niet-oorspronkelijk baarhuisje, dat buiten de bescherming valt.

-Van architectuurhistorische waarde als gaaf en goed voorbeeld van een kleine parochiebegraafplaats uit de tweede helft van de negentiende eeuw, waarin een voor de ontstaanstijd kenmerkende opbouw zichtbaar is. De meeste graven zijn van een eenvoudig type, maar daarnaast komen wat rijker uitgevoerde monumenten voor, van de plaatselijke adel en de pastoors alsmede een bijzondere crucifix, die is vervaardigd en geschonken door de plaatselijk ijzerfabriek.
-Van stedenbouwkundige waarde als essentieel onderdeel van het parochiecomplex. De begraafplaats sluit het complex aan de westelijke rand af en is door hoofvorm en beplanting mede beeldbepalend.

Description
The small CEMETERY occupies a rectangular plot and is enclosed by a beech hedge. On the side of the Deventerstraat is a double swing gate in the hedge. In the layout, a division with a cross-shaped gravel path is visible, along which graves are situated closely together and in rows. The crossing is emphasized by the presence of a cast-iron image of the crucified Christ. This is placed on a plastered plinth on which a saying is legible. Near this crossing lie the more richly executed priest graves and the graves of the nobility of the Cannenburg, including a grave with a hardstone neo-Gothic monument and a grave fence. The remaining graves are mainly simple graves with hardstone grave slabs, from the period 1850 to the present. The entrance gate consists of two gate pillars crowned by cast-iron skulls with crossbones. The rotating part of the gate consists of two wings, each made up of two vertical posts with spear points and connected horizontally by iron rails, the uppermost of which is curved.
