Inleiding
Aan de straatzijde ligt ter afscheiding een haag met daarin het TOEGANGSHEK. Het omstreeks 1884 geplaatste hek vertoont invloeden van het Eclecticisme.
Op het terrein staan zes LANTAARNPALEN. Ze stonden oorspronkelijk in Vught en zijn in de jaren dertig van de 20ste eeuw op het landgoed gezet. Er zijn twee typen te onderscheiden:
* Type 1. De twee oudste lantaarnpalen staan direct achter het toegangshek aan weerszijden van de zich hier splitsende oprijlaan. Dit type is gefabriceerd in 1897 (alhoewel het model al eerder kan zijn ontworpen) en vertoont invloeden van het Eclecticisme. Het is gegoten door ijzergieterij 'De Prins van Oranje' uit Den Haag in het laatste levensjaar van het bedrijf. De Prins van Oranje was destijds een van de grootste ijzergieterijen van ons land.
De nieuwe lantaarnkappen met armatuur dateren uit de jaren dertig.
* Type 2. Naast een deels om de villa lopend laantje staan nog vier lantaarnpalen. Dit type is gefabriceerd in de jaren dertig en vertoont invloeden van de Art Déco
Omschrijving
Het symmetrische sierhek staat ingeklemd tussen een haag en bestaat uit vier dubbele onderdelen. In het midden een draaibaar smeedijzeren tweevleugelig hek met in hoogte variërende puntspijlen, met elkaar verbonden door gebogen en rechte liggers, waartussen aan de bovenzijde cirkelvormen. Middenstijl met slot. De twee beweegbare vleugels scharnieren om twee gietijzeren, deels gecanneleerde kolommen op octogonale bases, gedecoreerd met rozetten en bekroond met een dennenappel op gestileerd kelkkapiteel. Zijdelen met detaillering zoals voornoemd bij het middendeel, met aan de bovenzijde de later toegevoegde letters 'ZUIDER / BOSCH'. Aan de uiterste einden bewerkstelligt smeedijzeren krulwerk een geleidelijke overgang naar het maaiveld.
* Type 1. Met florale en abstracte motieven gedecoreerde gietijzeren lantaarnpaal op ronde voet met ingezwenkt, van panelen voorzien postament en een zich verjongende, meervoudig ingesnoerde en met bladslingers omwikkelde schacht. Oorspronkelijk bedoeld voor gaslicht.
Een uit de jaren dertig daterende, versoberde kegelvormige lantaarnkap wordt gedragen door een tweearmig, V-vormig armatuur. Opschrift in de voet van de linker lantaarnpaal 'PLETTERIJ DEN HAAG', opschrift in de voet van de rechter lantaarnpaal 'IJZERGIETERIJ / DE PRINS VAN ORANJE / 's HAGE 1897'.
* Type 2. Eenvoudige, gietijzeren lantaarnpaal op ronde voet met een zich verjongende, deels gecanneleerde schacht, bekroond met een door een tweearmig armatuur ondersteunde kegelvormige kap waarin een vaasvormige lantaarn. Bedoeld voor elektrische verlichting.
Waardering.
Het toegangshek is van algemeen belang. Het object heeft kunsthistorische waarde vanwege de verzorgde detaillering en ornamentiek. Het object heeft ensemblewaarde vanwege de functioneel-ruimtelijke relatie met het landgoed. Het object is van belang wegens de gaafheid.
Het zestal lantaarnpalen is van algemeen belang. Het bezit cultuurhistorische waarden daar de verschillende typen getuigen van de overgang van gaslicht naar elektrisch licht. Six LAMP POSTS stand on the grounds. They originally stood in Vught and were placed on the estate in the nineteen-thirties. Two types can be distinguished:

This type was fabricated in 1897 (although the model may have been designed earlier) and shows influences of Eclecticism. It was cast by the iron foundry 'De Prins van Oranje' from The Hague in the last year of the company's existence. De Prins van Oranje was at the time one of the largest iron foundries in our country.

* Type 2. Next to a lane running partly around the villa stand another four lamp posts. This type was fabricated in the nineteen-thirties and shows influences of Art Deco
Description
The symmetrical ornamental gate is wedged between a hedge and consists of four double components. In the middle a rotating wrought-iron double-winged gate with pointed spears varying in height, connected to each other by curved and straight girders, between which at the top circular forms. Middle stile with lock. The two moveable wings pivot around two cast-iron, partly fluted columns on octagonal bases, decorated with rosettes and crowned with a pinecone on a stylised calyx capital. Side sections with detailing as mentioned above for the middle section, with the later added letters 'ZUIDER / BOSCH' at the top. At the extreme ends wrought-iron scrollwork effects a gradual transition to ground level.
* Type 1. Cast-iron lamp post decorated with floral and abstract motifs on a round foot with an inswung, panel-provided pedestal and a tapering, multiply waisted and blade-sling-wrapped shaft. Originally intended for gas light.
A conical lamp-head dating from the nineteen-thirties is supported by a two-armed, V-shaped fitting. Inscription in the foot of the left lamp post 'PLETTERIJ DEN HAAG', inscription in the foot of the right lamp post 'IJZERGIETERIJ / DE PRINS VAN ORANJE / 's HAGE 1897'.
