RESIDENTIAL HOUSE in Art Nouveau, as evidenced by a cast-iron manhole cover built in 1906. The designer is not known. The house was built as a private residence, expropriated by the occupier as 'Jewish property' and after World War II taken into use by Gist-Brocades as a director's residence and subsequently as an office building for the pension fund. Since 1997 the building has again been in use as a residential house. Renovated circa 1954; restoration at the end of the 1990s.

Detached residential house on rectangular ground plan, two storeys under a gabled roof tiled with roof tiles with some overhang; three-sided bay window with balcony on front facade (Art Nouveau fence renewed); conservatory with balcony on right side (profiled gutter with worked-out ornamental brackets); to the left of the entrance gate with half bell gable. Rendered (brick) facades with drip mouldings and decorative bands in red facing brick; decorative cornice with fan-shaped motifs; gable tops with decorative timber-framing. In the front facade a richly decorated semicircular entrance section with worked wooden door set in coloured stained-glass windows with floral motifs. In the fanlights of the bay window likewise stained glass. The windows on the first floor (front facade and right-side facade) with circular emphasis and likewise provided with coloured stained glass with floral motifs. Otherwise mainly H-windows with fanlight (partly without glazing bars, partly with glazing bars containing yellow bubbly glass). Above the simply closed gable openings worked-out lintels and slightly arched brick stretches. INTERIOR. The ground plan is largely still original: vestibule, corridor with toilet and an equally extended scullery, flanked by the sitting room with bay window and the dining room with conservatory; on the first floor the bedrooms, a bathroom and the balcony; attic. Internally of importance among others are the vestibule with draught-proof doors with rayed glass (floral motifs) and multi-pane fanlights; the corridor with polychrome floor tiling; the white tiling in the corridor to the scullery; the impressive staircase with carved work; the panelled doors with worked-out frames and fanlights with yellow bubbly glass; in the rooms stucco ceilings with peacock feather motif, the suite with sliding doors and side cupboards; the marble chimneypieces with Art Nouveau motif and likewise tiling; in the toilets the floral polychrome floor tiling and (on the ground floor) blue-and-white wall tiling; the window on the landing with coloured stained glass with floral motifs and multi-pane fanlight with yellow bubbly glass.
