Inleiding
In 1909 gebouwd als dubbele villa naar ontwerp van A. Kool (Ede) met de kenmerken van de Overgangsarchitectuur. Het pand ligt op de hoek met de Parklaan en heeft daardoor een ingang aan de Parklaan en de Stationsweg.
Omschrijving
In baksteen opgetrokken dubbele villa met twee tot drie bouwlagen gedekt door een samengestelde kapvorm bedekt met geglazuurde tuile du nord-pannen; diverse schoorstenen. Brede geprofileerde gootlijst op klossen. Gevelopbouw met anderhalve bouwlaag metselwerk en daarboven wit gepleisterd. Markante hoektoren met twee-en-eenhalve bouwlaag metselwerk en daarboven pleisterwerk en afgesloten door een tentdak; geprofileerde goot op opengewerkte klossen. Oorspronkelijke gevel- en raamindelingen waarbij als opvallende elementen gelden het gebruik van in- en uitspringende muurvlakken en erkers alsmede het gebruik van gekleurd glas-in-lood. De entree aan de Stationsweg heeft een paneeldeur onder luifel. De luifel rust op een houten kolom die op een gemetselde basis staat. De entree van de Parklaan heeft een paneeldeur met zij- en bovenlichten van glas-in-lood. Portiek met gemetselde wangen waarop houten kolommen die een houten tongewelf dragen; zijkanten voorzien van groen getint glas.
