De vanaf de 18de eeuw, in meerdere fasen tot stand gekomen TUINMUUR is een restant van de ten zuidoosten van het omgrachte eiland gelegen moestuin en boomgaard. De lange, uit rode baksteen opgetrokken tuinmuur heeft een Z-vormig beloop met rechte hoeken. De muur is versterkt met lisenen. Aan de zijde van de lindelaan bevinden zich rechte steunberen. De brede taps toelopende beren markeren het oudste deel van de tuinmuur. Op enkele plaatsen zijn hardstenen neuten en smeedijzeren gehengen bewaard gebleven.
Waardering
De in oorsprong 18de-eeuwse TUINMUUR is van algemeen belang:
- vanwege de cultuur- en architectuurhistorische waarde;
- als karakteristiek voorbeeld van een historische tuinmuur die de plaats markeert waar zich in oorsprong de moestuin van de historische buitenplaats Langenhorst bevond;

The GARDEN WALL, which from the 18th century onwards came into being in several phases, is a remnant of the kitchen garden and orchard located to the south-east of the moated island. The long garden wall, built in red brickwork, has an S-shaped course with right angles. The wall is reinforced with pilasters. On the side of the linden avenue there are straight buttresses. The broad tapering buttresses mark the oldest part of the garden wall. On some spots bluestone plinths and wrought-iron hinges have been preserved.
Valuation
The originally 18th-century GARDEN WALL is of general importance:
- because of its cultural and architectural historical value;
- as a characteristic example of a historic garden wall which marks the place where originally the kitchen garden of the historic country house Langenhorst was located;
- the garden wall has ensemble value because of the spatial and functional relationship with the other complex components of the country house.
