Omschrijving
PASTORIE uit 1877-1879 naar ontwerp van A. Tepe. De pastorie is opgebouwd uit een hoofdvolume, trappenhuis en achterhuis. In de gevels met trasraam bevindt zich ter hoogte van de onderdorpels van de vensteropeningen een uitgemetselde bloktandlijst, ter hoogte van de bovendorpels een overhoekse muizetandlijst. In het hoofdvolume en het achterhuis bevinden zich regelmatig verdeelde, rechthoekige zes-ruits schuiframen met glas-in-loodramen in de twee-ruits bovenlichten en decoratief vormgegeven, smeedijzeren muurankers. In het trappenhuis bevinden zich hoge, smalle rondboog- en spitsboogvensters gevuld met glas-in-loodramen. De gevel eindigt in een bakgoot met leien bekleed, een trapgevel of een afgewolfde topgevel gedekt met leien in koeverdekking.
De symmetrische VOORGEVEL (oostgevel) gericht naar de Grotestraat, is te verdelen in drie traveeën met een risalerende middentravee die eindigt in een trapgevel met achterliggend, aangekapt zadeldak. Op de begane grond in de middentravee bevindt zich een paneeldeur met zes briefpanelen door een kalf gescheiden van het twee-ruits bovenlicht. De ingangspartij wordt afgesloten door een tweedelig spaarveld omsloten door rollagen. Direct boven het spaarveld bevindt zich op de verdieping een schuifraam, aan de bovenzijde afgesloten door een spaarveld ingevuld met siermetselwerk. In de geveltop van de trapgevel bevindt zich een schuifraam afgesloten door een spitsboogvormig spaarveld omsloten door een rollaag met in het spaarveld een segmentboogvormige rollaag. Iedere trede van de trapgevel gaat vergezeld van een vierzijdige, overhoeks geplaatste, gemetselde pijler met natuurstenen bekroning met een extra pijler middenboven. De linkertravee vormt een spaarveld tussen de risalerende middentravee en de hoekliseen uiterst links. Op de begane grond en de verdieping van de linkertravee bevindt zich een schuifraam. Het venster op de begane grond wordt op identieke wijze afgesloten als de ingangspartij in de middentravee met aan weerszijden een muuranker. Het schuifraam op de verdieping wordt afgesloten door een rondboogvormig spaarveld met rollaag aan weerszijden geflankeerd door een muuranker. De rechtertravee is het spiegelbeeld van de linkertravee.
De LINKERZIJGEVEL bestaat uit de zijgevel van het hoofdvolume en de zijgevel van het achterhuis met daartegen het tussenlid. De zijgevel van het hoofdvolume bestaat uit twee vensterassen, identiek aan de linker vensteras in de voorgevel, en een trapgevel met natuurstenen afdekplaten en smeedijzeren bekroning op de toptrede. In de trapgevel bevindt zich een venster, identiek aan die in de trapgevel in de voorgevel. Het venster wordt aan weerszijden geflankeerd door een spitsboogvormig spaarveld.
Het éénlaags TUSSENLID is voorzien van een plat dak en heeft een bloktandlijst ter afsluiting van het trasraam. De gevel van het tussenlid wordt afgesloten door een ezlesrug. In het tussenlid bevindt zich aan de achterzijde een glasdeur. Het tussenlid wordt van licht voorzien door drie door korfboogjes afgesloten smalle hoge vensters.
De ACHTERGEVEL bestaat uit de gevel van het achterhuis die eindigt in een afgewolfde topgevel. Op de begane grond bevindt zich links een niet oorspronkelijke deur ter vervanging van een schuifraam, rechts een schuifraam beide afgesloten door een rondboogvormig spaarveld met rollaag. In de geveltop bevindt zich een schuifraam aan weerszijden geflankeerd door een rondboogvormig spaarveld.
De RECHTERZIJGEVEL bestaat uit de zijgevel van het hoofdgebouw, de gevel van het trappenhuis en de zijgevel van het achterhuis. De zijgevel van het hoofdgebouw is identiek aan de linkerzijgevel. Op de begane grond van de teruggelegen gevel van het trappenhuis bevindt zich een paneeldeur afgesloten door een rondboogvormig spaarveld. Op de eerste en tweede verdieping bevinden zich twee glas-in-loodramen. Op de tweede verdieping bevinden zich tevens twee identieke glas-in-loodramen in de rechterzijgevel van het trappenhuis. In de zijgevel van het achterhuis bevinden zich twee schuiframen afgesloten door een rondboogvormig spaarveld met regelmatig verdeelde krulankers.
Het INTERIEUR van de pastorie is grotendeels in tact met onder meer paneeldeuren, trappartij en tochtdeuren. Het tochtportaal wordt afgesloten door een paneeldeur met boven- en zijlichten alle voorzien van glas-in-loodramen. De pastorie is voorzien van een kelder met troggewelven en estrekken.

RECTORY built 1877-1879 to the design of A. Tepe. The rectory is composed of a main volume, staircase block and rear wing. In the facades with tuff masonry there is at the level of the lower window sills a laid dentil moulding, at the level of the upper sills an oblique tooth moulding. In the main volume and rear wing there are regularly distributed rectangular six-paned sash windows with leaded lights in the two-paned fanlights and decoratively formed ornamental wrought-iron wall anchors. In the staircase block there are tall, narrow round-arched and pointed-arched windows filled with leaded lights. The facade ends in a guttering lined with slate, a stepped gable or a half-hipped gable roof covered with slate in monk-and-nun bond.
The symmetrical FRONT FACADE (east facade) facing the Grotestraat, can be divided into three bays with a projecting central bay ending in a stepped gable with a recessed attached saddle roof. On the ground floor in the central bay there is a panel door with six letter panels separated by a transom from the two-paned fanlight. The entrance section is closed off by a two-part spandrel surrounded by roll mouldings. Directly above the spandrel there is on the first floor a sash window, at the top closed off by a spandrel filled with decorative brickwork. In the gable top of the stepped gable there is a sash window closed off by a pointed-arch-shaped spandrel surrounded by a roll moulding with in the spandrel a segmental-arch-shaped roll moulding. Each step of the stepped gable is accompanied by a four-sided diagonally placed built piers with ashlar capping with an extra pier in the middle above. The left bay forms a spandrel between the projecting central bay and the corner moulding at the far left. On the ground floor and first floor of the left bay there is a sash window. The window on the ground floor is closed off in identical fashion as the entrance section in the central bay with a wall anchor on each side. The sash window on the first floor is closed off by a round-arch-shaped spandrel with roll moulding flanked on each side by a wall anchor. The right bay is the mirror image of the left bay.
The LEFT SIDE FACADE consists of the side facade of the main volume and the side facade of the rear wing with the connecting link against it. The side facade of the main volume consists of two window axes, identical to the left window axis in the front facade, and a stepped gable with ashlar coping plates and wrought-iron capping on the top step. In the stepped gable there is a window identical to that in the stepped gable in the front facade. The window is flanked on each side by a pointed-arch-shaped spandrel.
The single-storey CONNECTING LINK is provided with a flat roof and has a dentil moulding closing off the tuff masonry. The facade of the connecting link is closed off by a half-round moulding. In the connecting link there is a glazed door at the rear. The connecting link is lit by three narrow tall windows closed off by basket-arch mouldings.
The REAR FACADE consists of the facade of the rear wing which ends in a half-hipped gable. On the ground floor there is on the left a non-original door replacing a sash window, on the right a sash window both closed off by a round-arch-shaped spandrel with roll moulding. In the gable top there is a sash window flanked on each side by a round-arch-shaped spandrel.
The RIGHT SIDE FACADE consists of the side facade of the main building, the facade of the staircase block and the side facade of the rear wing. The side facade of the main building is identical to the left side facade. On the ground floor of the recessed facade of the staircase block there is a panel door closed off by a round-arch-shaped spandrel. On the first and second floors there are two leaded lights. On the second floor there are also two identical leaded lights in the right side facade of the staircase block. In the side facade of the rear wing there are two sash windows closed off by a round-arch-shaped spandrel with regularly distributed scroll anchors.
The INTERIOR of the rectory is largely intact with amongst others panel doors, staircase and draught doors. The draught vestibule is closed off by a panel door with over- and side lights all provided with leaded lights. The rectory is provided with a cellar with barrel-vaults and joinery.
