Poortvormig TOEGANGSHEK opgenomen in een aan weerszijden van de poort vijf traveeën tellende bakstenen MUUR die de zuidzijde van de begraafplaats afsluit. Aan beide flanken van het perceel loopt de muur een brede traveelengte door en sluit daar aan tegen een modern hekwerk. De muur met uitgemetselde plint is opgetrokken in rode handvorm baksteen in Vlaams verband en wordt geleed door lisenen. De lisenen zijn aan de bovenzijde met elkaar verbonden door een dubbele tandlijst. De muur heeft een ezelsrugafdekking met kraalprofiel. De traveeën aan weerszijden van de poort hebben in een rechte lijn oplopend muurwerk. De in baksteen opgetrokken poort bestaat uit twee hoekpijlers met hardsteen kantelenbekroning, verbonden door een middenpartij met spitsboogdoorgang. De pijlers zijn in de voorzijden versierd met spitsboognisjes voorzien van dorpeltjes en een zadeldakvormige bekroning. Hierboven verjongen de pijlers zich en bevinden zich smalle blindnissen. Aan de oostelijke pijler een recente herdenkingsplaat met jaartal 1911. De spitsboog rust op kleinere aangemetselde pijlers voorzien van stenen consoles. De spitsboog is afgezet met vormsteen en heeft een sluitsteen. Ter hoogte van de aanzetten van de boog loopt een trekstang. De doorgang wordt gevormd door eenvoudige dubbele draaihekken van smeedijzer. Op de aan de bovenzijde rechtafgesloten middenpartij staat als bekroning een keperboogvormige steen voorzien van een hardstenen kruis met driepassen. Hierbinnen een keperboogvormige stenen plaat met tekst "Zalig zijn de dooden, die in den Heer sterven Apoc XIV 1-13".
Waardering
Het TOEGANGSHEK met de aan weerszijden van de poort aansluitende bakstenen muur met een lengte van vijf traveeën van de begraafplaats is van cultuurhistorische en typologische waarde als bijzondere uiting van een funeraire en geestelijke ontwikkeling. De in de poort toegepaste bijbeltekst verwijst naar deze bestemming. De poort heeft architectuurhistorische waarde als goed en gaaf bewaard voorbeeld van een begraafplaatspoort, en zeldzaamheidswaarde omdat een dergelijk rijke uitvoering voor begraafplaatspoorten zeldzaam is. De poort valt op vanwege esthetische kwaliteiten in de hoofdvorm en detaillering zoals de neo-gotische kantelenbekroningen.

Gate-like ACCESS GATE incorporated in a brick WALL on either side of the gate comprising five bays which closes the south side of the cemetery. On both flanks of the plot the wall continues for a wide bay length and connects there to a modern fence. The wall with tooled plinth is constructed in red hand-moulded brick in Flemish bond and is articulated by pilasters. The pilasters are connected at the top by a double tooth moulding. The wall has a half-round ridge coping with bead profile. The bays on either side of the gate have masonry rising in a straight line. The gate constructed in brick consists of two corner piers with hard stone crenellated capitals, connected by a central section with pointed arch passage. The piers are decorated on the front faces with pointed arch niches provided with sill stones and a saddle-roof-shaped capital. Above these the piers narrow and small blind niches are located. On the eastern pier a recent memorial plaque with date 1911. The pointed arch rests on smaller built-in piers provided with stone consoles. The pointed arch is finished with shaped stone and has a keystone. At the level of the arch springing a tie rod runs. The passage is formed by simple double iron swing gates. On the central section which is closed straight at the top stands as capital a diaper arch-shaped stone provided with a hard stone cross with trefoils. Within this a diaper arch-shaped stone plaque with text "Blessed are the dead, which die in the Lord Apoc XIV 1-13".
Valuation
The ACCESS GATE with the brick wall adjoining on either side of the gate comprising five bays of the cemetery is of cultural-historical and typological value as a distinctive expression of a funerary and spiritual development.
