Inleiding
WAGENSCHUUR gebouwd omstreeks 1910 in een sobere, aan de Chaletstijl verwante bouwstijl en behorende bij het boerderijcomplex ten oosten van de Rijsdijk te Rhoon. De wagenschuur bevindt zich ten zuiden van de toegangsweg, die het erf in tweeën deelt.
De wagenschuur heeft aan de oostzijde twee uitbreidingen ondergaan in de periode na 1950. Deze uitbreidingen zijn van ondergeschikt belang voor de bescherming. Het gaat om twee achter elkaar geplaatste rechthoekige volumes, waarvan één volume met zadeldak en één volume, grenzend aan de wagenschuur, met een plat dak.
Omschrijving
De wagenschuur heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond, met één bouwlaag onder een overstekend zadeldak, gedekt met gesmoorde pannen. De nok is haaks op de Rijsdijk gericht. De windveren zijn omvangrijk, met een spitsboogvormige onderrand en een makelaar in de top. De goten langs de zijgevels zijn vernieuwd en uitgevoerd in kunststof. De gevels zijn opgetrokken in rode baksteen in kruisverband. In de gevels bevinden zich door rollagen overspannen uitsparingen, waarin dubbele openslaande wagendeuren, deuren met drielichts bovenlicht en vensters, segmentboogvormige vensters met gietijzeren ramen en ronde vensters zijn geplaatst. De houten dakconstructie is middels gietijzeren muurankers in de bakstenen gevels verankerd.
De symmetrische voorgevel (noordzijde) heeft een drieledige opbouw. Naast elkaar zijn drie rechtgesloten, openslaande dubbele inrijdeuren geplaatst. In de twee linker wagendeuren zijn rechtgesloten vensters aangebracht.
De asymmetrische achtergevel heeft geheel links een segmentboogvormig venster. Twee vergelijkbare vensters bevinden zich in het rechterdeel van de gevel.
De symmetrische linker zijgevel grenst gedeeltelijk aan de uitbreiding van na 1950, maar is nauwelijks aangetast. De linker zijgevel heeft in het midden een deur met drielichts bovenlicht, geflankeerd door segmentboogvormige vensters. In de top van de gevel zijn naast elkaar twee ronde vensters met radiale roedenverdeling geplaatst.
De symmetrische rechter zijgevel is identiek aan de linker zijgevel.

CULM SHED built around 1910 in a sober building style related to the Chalet style and belonging to the farm complex to the east of the Rijsdijk at Rhoon. The culm shed is situated to the south of the access road, which divides the farmyard in two.

Description
The culm shed has a rectangular ground plan, with one storey under an overhanging gabled roof, covered with smothered tiles. The ridge is at right angles to the Rijsdijk. The wind braces are substantial, with a pointed arch-shaped lower edge and a collar tie at the top. The gutters along the side gables are renewed and executed in plastic. The gables are built up in red brick in cross bond. In the gables are recesses spanned by drip mouldings, in which double opening cart doors, doors with three-light fanlights and windows, segmental arch-shaped windows with cast iron frames and round windows are placed. The wooden roof structure is anchored in the brick gables by means of cast iron wall anchors.
The symmetrical front gable (north side) has a three-part structure. Next to each other are three right-angled, opening double entrance doors. In the two left cart doors right-angled windows are incorporated.
The asymmetrical rear gable has a segmental arch-shaped window on the far left. Two similar windows are located in the right part of the gable.
