Inleiding
DIENSTWONING no. 29, opgetrokken in een sobere streek-eigen bouwtrant, behorend bij een voormalige hooiperserij, welke na een brand in 1927 geheel is vernieuwd. In 1779 gesticht als de handel in fourage en hooiperserij Joh. Vermeulen en Zoon, later fa. De Roon-Boezer. Thans opslagloods en transportbedrijf Boezer.
Omschrijving
Eenlaags woonhuis, opgetrokken uit machinale baksteen onder mansardedak, met overstek, met kruispannen gedekt. Voorgevel met plint in profielsteen, middenrisaliet met hoeklisenen en brede ramen met vereenvoudigde indeling onder segmenttogen. Entree met originele voordeur in portiek. Dakkapel met hoekpilasters en rondboograam met bovenlicht met kleine roedenverdeling.
De linker en rechter zijgevel met vereenvoudige ramen beneden en boven twee zesruits schuiframen. Tegen de eenvoudige achtergevel een serre onder plat dak.

De dienstwoning is van algemeen belang. SERVANTS' DWELLING no. 29, constructed in a sober regional building tradition, belonging to a former hay-pressing works, which after a fire in 1927 was entirely renewed. Founded in 1779 as the fodder and hay-pressing trade Joh. Vermeulen and Son, later company De Roon-Boezer. Currently storage warehouse and transport business Boezer.
Description
Single-storey dwelling, constructed of machine-made brick under a mansard roof, with overhang, covered with Spanish tiles. Front facade with plinth in moulded stone, central risalit with corner pilasters and broad windows with simplified glazing under segmental arches. Entrance with original front door in portico. Roof dormer with corner pilasters and round-arched window with fanlight with small glazing bars.
The left and right side gables with simplified windows below and above two six-pane sash windows. Against the simple rear facade a conservatory under a flat roof.
Valuation
The servants' dwelling is of general importance. The object has cultural-historical values as an expression of the socio-economic and typological development of the servants' dwelling in general; it has ensemble values because of the high-quality nature of the buildings and the historical-spatial relationship with green spaces, roads, waterways and soil conditions; integrity/recognisability: it is of importance because of the integrity of the exterior.
