Introduction.

Located on the east side of the complex is a single-storey BARN probably dating from around 1774, standing at right angles to the adjoining manor house. The barn was originally connected to a brewery that has since disappeared. The building is surrounded by a courtyard on the front and right side. Behind it lies an orchard. On the left side, at the location of the former brewery, there is vacant land. Some alterations have taken place. The left entrance on the front is fitted with a later-constructed rolling shutter door. Within the rear gable, the left entrance is partly bricked up and provided with a later-sealed gable opening. An identical modern gable opening is located in the bricked-up right part of the gable. The left side gable consists of a provisionally assembled wooden wall. Description.

The single-storey barn has a rectangular floor plan and a hipped roof that is executed as a gabled roof on the front side. The roof is covered with red Dutch-style tiles. The gables are built in brick in Flemish bond and have wrought-iron bar anchors. The left side gable, which partially shows a timber-frame construction, is provisionally sealed with wooden elements. The front gable contains on the left two broad segmental arch entrances with 1½-brick segmental arches. The left example is filled with a later-constructed rolling shutter door. The right example is fitted with a double clamped gate. The right side gable has two narrow entrances with a clamped door as well as three stable windows with a wooden frame. The left side gable is provisionally sealed with wooden elements and shows a number of substantial wooden posts, some of which are furnished with carpenters' marks. The rear gable contains two segmental arch entrances of which the left example is half bricked up. The right part contains a clamped door. Within the bricked-up part is a later-sealed rectangular gable opening. The second entrance contains a double clamped gate. At the far right the gable is partly newly built and here there is a modern sealed gable opening. The three-aisle interior contains an old timber frame with hacked carpenters' marks (tie beams, supported by posts with corbels). Purlin roof with substantial roof trusses with intermediate rafter beams. The rafters are connected to the purlins by wind braces. There are three intermediate rafter beams per rafter. The beams are cambered.
