Inleiding
LANGGEVELBOERDERIJ, uit omstreeks 1890 in Ambachtelijk-Traditionele stijl, mogelijk gesticht op een oudere huisplaats. Blijkens opschrift heeft A. van Gool (plaatselijke timmerman) in 1897 een spant vervangen. In 1936 is het pand verbouwd. Vrijstaand pand in het buitengebied, thans in gebruik als woonhuis.
Omschrijving
Bakstenen pand met een voorgevel van rode steen, de zijgevels zijn uitgevoerd in bruine baksteen. De boerderij heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond onder zadeldak, aan de achterzijde bevinden zich niet-historische aanbouwen. Het dak is gedekt met oud-Hollandse pannen.
De voorgevel is voorzien van een gepleisterde plint. Beide zijgevels hebben vlechtingen en een gemetselde makelaar in de topgevel. Het woongedeelte heeft een paneeldeur met tweedelig bovenlicht in ondiep portiek (1936), rechts daarvan bevinden zich twee stolpramen met luiken. Ter linkerzijde van het portiek zijn twee ramen aangebracht, waarvan het rechter een stolpraam, en het linker eerst een deur was, naar het voormalige bedrijfsgedeelte. Onder de ramen bevinden zich natuurstenen dorpels, erboven, evenals boven de deur zijn strekken in het metselwerk zichtbaar. De kopse gevel bevat enkele kleine ramen. Het bedrijfsgedeelte is herkenbaar aan de rondboogpoort. De kopse gevel bevat een utilitaire, deels bij recente verbouwingen gerealiseerde indeling.
Rechts van het pand, evenwijdig aan de voorgevel is een bakstenen tuinmuur geplaatst. Deze muur is voorzien van lisenen en ezelsruggen en bevat twee poorten.
Voor het pand is een klein stoepje van tegels in ruitpatroon gelegd. Er staan leilinden.
Inwendig bevinden zich rechts woonvertrekken, in 1936 deels gewijzigd, met onder andere kelder/opkamer en deels historische balklagen.
Waardering
De boerderij is van algemeen belang. Het gebouw heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als voorbeeld van de sociaal-economische ontwikkeling van de landbouw in zuidelijk Brabant en als voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van de langgevelboerderij. Architectuurhistorisch is het pand van belang vanwege de sobere ornamentiek, de zorgvuldige detaillering en de zuidelijk aandoende stijl. De boerderij is belangrijk vanwege de gaafheid van het exterieur en is als zodanig zeldzaam.

LONG-GABLED FARMHOUSE, from around 1890 in Artisanal-Traditional style, possibly established on an older homestead. According to an inscription, A. van Gool (local carpenter) replaced a rafter in 1897. In 1936 the building was remodelled. Detached building in the rural area, currently in use as a residential house.
Description
Brick building with a front facade of red stone, the side facades are executed in brown brick. The farmhouse has a rectangular plan under a gabled roof, at the rear there are non-historical outbuildings. The roof is covered with old-Dutch tiles.
The front facade is provided with a rendered plinth. Both side gables have wattle-and-daub work and a stone-finished maker's mark in the topped gable. The residential part has a panel door with two-part fanlight in a shallow porch (1936), to the right of which are two jowl windows with shutters. To the left of the porch are two windows, of which the right is a jowl window and the left was formerly a door to the former business part. Below the windows are natural stone thresholds, above them, as well as above the door, are stretchers in the brickwork visible. The end gable contains a few small windows. The business part is recognizable by the round-arched gate. The end gable contains a utilitarian, partly in recent remodelling realized arrangement.
To the right of the building, parallel to the front facade, a brick garden wall is placed. This wall is provided with pilasters and saddle-backs and contains two gates.
In front of the building a small area of tiles in diamond pattern is laid. There are lindens.
Internally there are residential rooms on the right, partly altered in 1936, including among other things a basement/upper room and partly historic floor beams.
Valuation
The farmhouse is of general importance. The building has cultural-historical significance as an example of the socio-economic development of agriculture in southern Brabant and as an example of the typological development of the long-gabled farmhouse. Architecturally the building is of importance because of its sober ornamentation, careful detailing and southern appearance of its style. The farmhouse is important because of the intactness of its exterior and as such is rare.
