Omschrijving
Omschrijving onderdeel 3: TUINMUUR met TOEGANGSHEKKEN behorende tot de buitenplaats de Kiefskamp.
Het hoofdgebouw en de direct daarmee verbonden opstallen zijn alle met de voorgevel op één lijn geplaatst, langs de oostwest georiënteerde toegangslaan. De gevels worden onderling verbonden door een gemetselde tuinmuur van circa twee meter hoog. De muur loopt van het westelijk gelegen bijgebouw (de muur maakt tevens deel uit van dit gebouw) tot een tiental meters voorbij het hoofdgebouw. De muur is ritmisch verdeeld door middel van op lisenen gelijkende steunberen en wordt op drie plaatsen onderbroken door een dubbel hek. Deze hekken bevinden zich tussen bijgebouw en koetshuis, tussen koetshuis en hoofdgebouw en in het muurgedeelte ten oosten van het hoofdgebouw. De houten hekken zijn eenvoudig van vorm, alleen het centrale hek is deels opengewerkt en voorzien van decoratief traliewerk. Aan de uiteinden van de muur en ter weerszijden van de doorgangen wordt het muurwerk beëindigd door gemetselde vierkante pijlers met geprofileerde afdekplaat. Daar waar de muur een onderdeel vormt van het bijgebouw wordt hij aan de bovenzijde beëindigd door een gootlijst op klossen. Ook aan de tuinzijde worden hoofdgebouw en koetshuis middels een tuinmuur met elkaar verbonden. In deze muur een enkelvoudig hek met opengewerkt, getralied deel als in het hek aan de voorzijde. De besloten ruimte tussen beide gebouwen functioneert als binnenplaats. De tuinmuur met toegangshekken dateert uit het laatste kwart van de 18de eeuw.

De TUINMUUR met TOEGANGSHEKKEN behorende tot de buitenplaats de Kiefskamp is van algemeen belang:

Description of component 3: GARDEN WALL with ACCESS GATES belonging to the country estate de Kiefskamp.
The main building and the outbuildings directly connected to it are all positioned with their front facades in line along the east-west oriented access avenue. The facades are interconnected by a masonry garden wall approximately two metres high. The wall runs from the outbuilding located to the west (the wall also forms part of this building) to about ten metres beyond the main building. The wall is rhythmically divided by means of buttresses resembling pilasters and is interrupted at three points by a double gate. These gates are located between the outbuilding and the coach house, between the coach house and the main building, and in the wall section to the east of the main building. The wooden gates are simple in form, only the central gate being partly open-worked and provided with decorative tracery work. At the ends of the wall and on either side of the passages, the masonry is terminated by masonry square pillars with moulded coping. Where the wall forms part of the outbuilding, it is terminated at the top by a gutter cornice on corbels. Also on the garden side, the main building and coach house are connected to each other by means of a garden wall. In this wall a single gate with open-worked, trellised section as in the gate on the front side. The enclosed space between the two buildings functions as a courtyard. The garden wall with access gates dates from the last quarter of the 18th century.
