Inleiding.
WOONHUIS met BEDRIJFSRUIMTE, gebouwd in 1910 in een sobere Traditionalistische bouwstijl. Bij restauratiewerkzaamheden rond 1995 is de dakconstructie van het huis vernieuwd.
Omschrijving.
Eénlaags bakstenen woonhuis op een rechthoekige plattegrond onder een zadeldak waarvan de nok evenwijdig aan de straat loopt. Het dak is gedekt met kruispannen. De voorgevel heeft hoeklisenen en lisenen aan weerszijden van de middentravee. Daartussen, aan de bovenzijde van de gevel een fries met tandlijst. Voor- en zijgevel zijn voorzien van een gepleisterde plint. De voorgevel heeft ook gepleisterde speklagen ter hoogte van de onder- en bovendorpels van de ramen. De voordeur heeft een driedelig bovenlicht. Aan weerszijden daarvan is een T-raam met luiken en een driedelig bovenlicht geplaatst. Boven ramen en deur zijn segmentbogen met gepleisterde aanzet- en sluitstenen aangebracht, op de sluitsteen een diamantkop. De boogvelden zijn versierd met reliëfs, boven het linkerraam: "ANNO", rechts "1910". In het midden, boven de deur zijn in een schild de initialen JvL aangebracht, voor Jan van Lieshout, de opdrachtgever van het huis. In het fries zijn, ter plekke van de gevelopeningen, stroken met metselmozaïek aangebracht.
De linkerzijgevel heeft op de begane grond twee ramen in dezelfde vormgeving als de ramen aan de voorkant. De boogvelden onder de segmentbogen zijn gepleisterd en voorzien van ingekraste slingermotieven. In de top twee kleinere ramen: T-ramen met een driedelig bovenlicht onder gemetselde segmentbogen.
De rechterzijgevel heeft aan de voorzijde een blindnis. Achterzijde een raam als voor, in de top in het midden een hijsluik, geflankeerd door twee kleine rechthoekige ramen. In de top een gemetselde makelaar. De achtergevel is voorzien van een muizentandlijst. In het verlengde van het woonhuis, maar verder van de rooilijn af is tegen de rechter achterhoek een bedrijfsgedeelte geplaatst. Dit bouwvolume is éénlaags, maar lager dan het woonhuis, op een rechthoekige plattegrond onder zadeldak. Het dak is gedekt met Oud Hollandse pannen. In de gevel aan de straatkant zijn een paneeldeur met halfrond bovenlicht met spaak-roedenverdeling, een stalraam met ijzeren kozijn in de vorm van een korenaartje, een brede poort met afgeronde hoeken, en een brede, hoge rechthoekige poort tot aan de gootlijst en een luik geplaatst.
In het interieur is de indeling in oorspronkelijke vorm bewaard gebleven. Het pand heeft een centrale gang met aan de linkerkant een kamer-en-suite. In de kamer rechts van de gang zijn cementen vloertegels en de keuken heeft de oude schouw behouden. Het huis heeft houten vloeren en plafonds en is gedeeltelijk onderkelderd.
Waardering.

Single-storey brick residential house on a rectangular plan under a gabled roof with the ridge parallel to the street. The roof is covered with interlocking tiles. The front facade has corner pilasters and pilasters on either side of the central bay. Between them, at the upper part of the facade a frieze with tooth moulding. Front and side facades are provided with a plastered plinth. The front facade also has plastered ashlar courses at the level of the sills and lintels of the windows. The front door has a three-part fanlight. On either side of it a T-window with shutters and a three-part fanlight have been placed. Above windows and door segmental arches with plastered setting and closing stones have been applied, on the closing stone a diamond motif. The spandrels are decorated with relief ornaments, above the left window: "ANNO", on the right "1910". In the centre, above the door, the initials JvL have been placed in a shield, for Jan van Lieshout, the client who commissioned the house. In the frieze, at the location of the facade openings, bands with masonry mosaic have been applied.
The left side facade has on the ground floor two windows in the same design as the windows on the front. The right side facade has on the front a blind opening. Rear side a window as in front, at the gable in the centre a hoist window, flanked by two small rectangular windows. At the gable a masonry dentil course. In extension of the residential house, but further back from the building line, against the rear right corner a business section has been placed. This building volume is single-storey, but lower than the residential house, on a rectangular plan under a gabled roof. The roof is covered with Old Dutch tiles. In the facade facing the street a panelled door with semi-circular fanlight with spoke glazing bars, a stable window with iron frame in the form of a cornaertje, a broad door with rounded corners, and a broad, high rectangular door up to the guttering line and a shutter have been placed.
In the interior the layout in its original form has been preserved. The property has a central corridor with on the left side an en-suite room. In the room to the right of the corridor are cement floor tiles and the kitchen has retained the original fireplace. The house has wooden floors and ceilings and is partially cellared.
