Inleiding
KADEMUUR uit 1880, onderdeel van de buitenplaats "Sperwershof". De kademuur is gelegen langs de noordelijke kavelsloot, ter hoogte van de westelijke villa (Noordereinde 52). Via twee gemetselde trappen die deel uitmaken van de kademuur werd tot omstreeks 1918 tweemaal per jaar (in het voor- en najaar) een groot deel van de huisraad in en uit de trekschuit naar en van Amsterdam geladen en gelost.
Omschrijving
Circa 25 meter lange en ruim 1 meter hoge (gerekend vanaf het waterpeil) kademuur, opgetrokken in rode machinale waalsteen in kruisverband met snijvoeg. De muurdikte bedraagt anderhalve steen (ca. 0,33 m). Naast baksteen is op de hoeken ter versteviging Belgische hardsteen toegepast. De hardstenen hoekblokken uiterst links- en rechtsboven vermelden aan de slootzijde (N) het bouwjaar 1880. Op ongeveer 5 meter vanaf beide uiteinden van de kademuur leidt een gemetselde trap van zeven treden naar een vlak boven de sloot gelegen rechthoekige losplaats (1,35 x 1,65 m) waaromheen de kademuur zich voortzet. Aan de slootzijde is de kademuur voorzien van smeedijzeren muurankers en ogen.
Waardering
De kademuur uit 1880 is van algemeen belang wegens architectuur- en cultuurhistorische waarde als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van de buitenplaats "Sperwershof" gelegen binnen het beschermde dorpsgezicht van 's-Graveland.

QUAY WALL from 1880, part of the country estate "Sperwershof". The quay wall is situated along the northern plot ditch, at the level of the western villa (Noordereinde 52). Via two brick stairs which form part of the quay wall, until approximately 1918 twice a year (in spring and autumn) a large part of the household goods were loaded and unloaded in and from the trekschuit to and from Amsterdam.
Description
Approximately 25 metres long and just over 1 metre high (measured from water level) quay wall, erected in red machine-made English bond brick with struck joints. The wall thickness is one and a half bricks (approximately 0.33 m). In addition to brick, Belgian hard stone has been used at the corners for reinforcement. The hard stone corner blocks at the extreme left and right above indicate the building year 1880 on the ditch side (N). At approximately 5 metres from both ends of the quay wall a brick stair of seven steps leads to a rectangular landing (1.35 x 1.65 m) situated above the ditch, around which the quay wall continues. On the ditch side the quay wall is provided with wrought-iron wall anchors and eyes.

The quay wall from 1880 is of general interest due to its architectural and cultural-historical value as a historically-functional component of the country estate "Sperwershof" situated within the protected village landscape of 's-Graveland.
