Inleiding
TUINMUUR met DAM, onderdeel van de buitenplaats "Sperwershof", gebouwd in de 18de eeuw langs de noordzijde van de moestuin, die is gelegen op de zuidwesthoek van de rechthoekige kavel. Aan de noord- en zuidzijde loopt een kavelsloot, aan de oostzijde ligt de parkaanleg van H. Copijn uit 1888 en aan de westzijde de bebouwing aan het Noordereinde. Het geheel is onderdeel van het beschermde dorpsgezicht van 's-Graveland.
Omschrijving
De moestuinmuur is opgetrokken in rode baksteen langs de noordzijde van de moestuin. De muur wordt aan de noordzijde gesteund door trapsgewijs uitgevoerde steunberen met gecementeerde afdekking, terwijl de bovenrand van de muur is afgedekt met gesmoorde Hollandse pannen. De poort bevindt zich tussen twee forse vierkante pijlers met gecementeerde bekroning. Tegen de zuidzijde van de muur is een kas geplaatst onder een lessenaardak in glas, gevat in ijzerprofielen, op een bakstenen voet. De rode bakstenen dam met uitzwenkende keermuren over de noordelijke kavelsloot, vormt de toegang tot de moestuin.

Introduction
KITCHEN GARDEN WALL with DAM, part of the country estate "Sperwershof", built in the 18th century along the north side of the kitchen garden, which is situated on the southwest corner of the rectangular plot. A field ditch runs along the north and south sides, the park layout by H. Copijn from 1888 lies on the east side and the buildings on the Noordereinde on the west side. The whole is part of the protected village scene of 's-Graveland.
Description
The kitchen garden wall is built in red brick along the north side of the kitchen garden. The wall is supported on the north side by stepped flying buttresses with cemented capping, while the upper edge of the wall is covered with weathered Dutch tiles. The gate is situated between two substantial square pillars with cemented crowning. Against the south side of the wall a greenhouse is placed under a lean-to roof in glass, set in iron profiles, on a brick base. The red brick dam with flared retaining walls over the northern field ditch forms the access to the kitchen garden.
