Inleiding
HEK uit de tweede helft van de negentiende eeuw met bijbehorende achttiende-eeuwse DAM, behorend bij de buitenplaats "Sperwershof". Het hek geeft vanaf het Noordeinde over de westelijke kavelsloot toegang tot de buitenplaats.
Omschrijving
IJzeren toegangshek op rode bakstenen dam met halfcirkelvormige damwanden, bestaande uit twee vleugels tussen slanke ijzeren pijlers die worden geflankeerd door spijlenhekken. De vleugels worden gevormd door spijlenhekken met krullen en punten als bekroning. De slanke pijlers zijn bekroond met krullen ter weerszijden van een getordeerde bovenkant. De spijlenhekken zijn aan de zijkanten afgesloten door grote S-vormige krullen.
Waardering
Het 19de-eeuwse hek met bijbehorende 18de-eeuwse dam is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuur- en architectuurhistorische waarde als gaaf bewaard gebleven historisch-functioneel onderdeel van de buitenplaats "Sperwershof", gelegen binnen het beschermde dorpsgezicht van 's-Graveland.

Description
Iron entrance gate on red brick dam with semicircular dam walls, consisting of two wings between slender iron pillars flanked by spile fences. The wings are formed by spile fences with curls and points as a crown. The slender pillars are crowned with curls on either side of a twisted top. The spile fences are closed on the sides by large S-shaped curls.
Valuation
The 19th-century gate with its associated 18th-century dam is of general importance due to its cultural and architectural-historical value as a well-preserved historical-functional component of the country estate "Sperwershof", situated within the protected village scene of 's-Graveland.
