Omschrijving onderdeel 18: (Bij Voorsterweg 139; op de bijbehorende kaart aangegeven met nr. 18) WATERVAL
De WATERVAL bevindt zich ten zuidwesten van het huis waar het hoge waterpeil van de vijvers via een slingerende beek zich in de grachten (met lager peil) stort. Het niveauverschil is 20 cm. De waterval werd gemaakt in 1820, waarbij grote zandstenen restanten van stoepen, traptreden en dorpels werden gebruikt. De eigenlijke plaat waarover het water loopt is een 40 cm brede, 1,85 m. lange en 15 cm. dikke stoep- of trapplaat. Het metselwerk van de flankerende, geleide pijlers is rond 1920 vernieuwd; echter onder de genoemde plaat bevindt zich ouder metselwerk (1820). Op de pijlers en in de buurt van de waterval bevinden zich enkele grote (tot 100 cm. lang) en meerdere kleine zwerfkeien.

Description of component 18: (At Voorsterweg 139; indicated on the accompanying map with no. 18) WATERFALL
The WATERFALL is located to the southwest of the house where the high water level of the ponds flows via a winding stream into the ditches (with lower level). The level difference is 20 cm. The waterfall was made in 1820, using large sandstone remains of stoeps, steps and thresholds. The actual plate over which the water flows is a 40 cm wide, 1.85 m. long and 15 cm. thick stoep or step plate. The masonry of the flanking, guiding piers was renewed around 1920; however, beneath the aforementioned plate is older masonry (1820). On the piers and in the vicinity of the waterfall are some large (up to 100 cm. long) and several small erratic stones.

The WATERFALL is of general importance:
