Omschrijving onderdeel 16: (Bij Voorsterweg 139; op de bijbehorende kaart aangegeven met nr. 16) SOKKEL IN ZUIDTUIN
Zware, balustervormige hardstenen SOKKEL (hoog 100 cm en breed 50 cm) in Lodewijk XV stijl, staande in de as van het pad vanaf de grote rode beuk. Het basement is afgewerkt met een profiel; de schacht is voorzien van bloem- en bladmotieven, asymmetrische decoratie aan de onderzijde en Ionische voluten op de afgeschuinde hoeken. Op de sokkel staat een recente kunststenen urn met deksel die wegens te geringe ouderdom en monumentale waarden buiten de bescherming valt.

Description of component 16: (At Voorsterweg 139; indicated on the accompanying map with no. 16) BASE IN SOUTH GARDEN
Heavy, baluster-shaped hardstone BASE (100 cm high and 50 cm wide) in Louis XV style, standing on the axis of the path from the great red beech. The base is finished with a moulding; the shaft is provided with flower and leaf motifs, asymmetrical decoration on the underside and Ionic volutes on the chamfered corners. On the base stands a recent artificial stone urn with lid which falls outside the protection due to insufficient age and monumental value.
