Omschrijving onderdeel 7: BOERDERIJ MET SCHUREN.
Aan de westzijde ligt de op de fundamenten van het middeleeuwse kasteel gebouwde bakstenen T-boerderij uit circa 1825. Het voorhuis van anderhalve bouwlaag is overkapt door een met riet gedekt schilddak met gemetselde hoekschoorstenen en op de nok een klokkenstoel, de stal is overkapt door een deels met riet, deels met gesmoorde Oud-Hollandse pannen gedekt licht geknikt wolfsdak met smal overstek en een gemetselde schoorsteen op de nok. De vijfassige voorgevel kent een regelmatige indeling van afwisselend een zesruitsvenster en een deur met bovenlicht, daarboven vier zoldervensters met luik. Tegen de rechter zijgevel een rechthoekige uitbouw. De achtergevel heeft korfboogvormige deeldeuren geflankeerd door een rond venster en een staldeur, in de zijgevels ellipsvormige stalvensters. Kelders met kruisgewelven op pijlers van het middeleeuwse kasteel. Naast de boerderij een bakstenen WATERPUT, die circa 1 meter boven het maaiveld uitsteekt. Ten noordoosten van de boerderij staat een op rechthoekige grondslag opgetrokken bakstenen SCHUUR (XIXa), bouwschuur genoemd, met spantconstructie onder een met gesmoorde Hollandse pannen gedekt hoog opgaand, licht geknikt wolfsdak voorzien van daklijsten (zaagtand). In de westgevel een korfboogvormige deeldeur met rechts een halfrond gietijzeren stalvenster, in de oostgevel een korfboogvormige deeldeur geflankeerd door ovale gietijzeren stalraampjes en rechts een staldeur. Beide gevels met vlechtwerk en smeedijzeren muurankers. Op een verhoging staat een op rechthoekige grondslag opgetrokken bakstenen SCHUUR (XXa), 'Hoge schuur' genoemd, onder een met gesmoorde Hollandse pannen gedekt schilddak met ongelijke schilden. Over de gehele lengte van de zuidgevel een houten aanbouw (boenhok) onder een met gesmoorde Muldenpannen lessenaarsdak. Voorgevel met korfboogvormige deeldeur en in de top een rond venster.

De BOERDERIJ MET SCHUREN is van algemeen belang:

Description component 7: FARMHOUSE WITH BARNS.
On the west side stands the brick T-shaped farmhouse built circa 1825 on the foundations of the medieval castle. The front house of one-and-a-half storeys is covered with a reed-thatched hipped roof with mortared corner chimneys and a bell-cote on the ridge; the barn is covered with a partly reed-thatched, partly covered with muted old Dutch tiles slightly bent half-hipped roof with narrow overhang and a mortared chimney on the ridge. The five-bay front facade has a regular arrangement of alternating six-pane windows and doors with fanlights, above these four attic windows with shutters. Against the right side facade a rectangular extension. The back facade has segmental arch barn doors flanked by a round window and a barn door, in the side facades elliptical barn windows. Cellars with cross-vaults on pillars from the medieval castle. Beside the farmhouse a brick WELL, which projects approximately 1 metre above ground level. North-east of the farmhouse stands a brick BARN (19th century, first half) constructed on a rectangular ground plan, called a building barn, with rafter truss structure beneath a high-rising, slightly bent half-hipped roof covered with muted Dutch tiles and fitted with roof mouldings (sawtooth pattern). In the west facade a segmental arch barn door with on the right a half-round cast-iron stable window; in the east facade a segmental arch barn door flanked by oval cast-iron stable windows and on the right a barn door. Both facades with woven timberwork and wrought-iron wall anchors. On a raised platform stands a brick BARN (20th century, first half) constructed on a rectangular ground plan, called a high barn, beneath a hipped roof covered with muted Dutch tiles with unequal hips. Along the entire length of the south facade a wooden lean-to structure (scrub room) beneath a muted Mulden-tile catslide roof. Front facade with segmental arch barn door and at the top a round window.
Valuation
The FARMHOUSE WITH BARNS is of general importance:

- because of the medieval cellars with cross-vaults as the last remaining part of the castle;
