Inleiding.
BOERDERIJ van het langgeveltype, in 1934 in Traditionele vormen opgetrokken op een kruispunt van wegen aan de centrumrand van de noordelijke lintbebouwing van de kern van Nistelrode. Het pand heeft tegenwoordig alleen nog een woonfunctie. De boerderij is in 1933 in opdracht van A. van den Hoogen ontworpen door de Berlicumse architect H. Tibosch.
Omschrijving.
Langgerekte, op rechthoekige grondslag gebouwde, deels onderkelderde, boerderij van één bouwlaag met kapverdieping. De boerderij heeft een ondiepe tuin aan de voorzijde en een erf aan de achterzijde. Gevels in schoon metselwerk van machinaal vervaardigde hardgrauwe Waalsteen, gemetseld in kruisverband. De binnenmuren zijn van cementsteen. Met verbeterde Hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak, nokrichting evenwijdig aan de straat. Boven het woon en stallingsgedeelte bevinden zich twee gemetselde schoorstenen. Houten bakgoot. De kap van het woongedeelte is beschoten, die van het stalgedeelte niet.
Zeer gaaf bewaard exterieur. Het woongedeelte bevindt zich aan de zuidelijke zijde; daarnaast een stal met deel en schuren. De ramen van het woongedeelte zijn recht gesloten. Kleine, licht getoogde vensters met een vierruits raam met roedenverdeling. In het woongedeelte zijn de recht gesloten vensters geornamenteerd met sober glas-in-lood in de bovenlichten. Iets terugliggende rondboogingang met gemetselde omlijsting en een hardstenen gedenksteen van de eerste steen legging. Dubbele deeldeur met dubbel bovenlicht. Hijsluik voor de hooizolder boven het stallingsgedeelte. In de achtergevel bevinden zich onder meer twee grote keukenvensters. De noordelijke zijgevel heeft op de begane grond drie vensters als in de voorgevel en in het kapgedeelte twee van dergelijke vensters die een opgeklampte deur met daarboven nog een klein rond venstertje. De indeling van het pand is nog geheel authentiek. Het woongedeelte heeft een centrale gang die leidt naar de grote keuken. Links daarvan bevindt zich een grote woonkamer met daarachter twee slaapkamers. Rechts van de gang bevindt zich de huiskamer. De centrale stallen met voedergoten waren oorspronkelijk voor klein en groot vee. Het rechter gedeelte omvat een schuur met paardenstal een aardappelkelder. Het stalgedeelte heeft grenen kapspanten.
Waardering.
Het boerderij is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische waarden die het heeft als bijzondere uitdrukking van een sociaal- economische, landschappelijke en typologische ontwikkeling; namelijk als vertegenwoordiger van de laatste ontwikkelingsfase van de langgevelboerderij in de twintigste eeuw. De boerderij heeft architectuurhistorisch belang vanwege de bijzondere samenhang tussen exterieur en interieur. Het pand is van belang vanwege de bijzondere architectonische gaafheid van het ex- en interieur.

FARMHOUSE of the long-gable type, erected in 1934 in Traditional forms at a road junction on the edge of the centre of the northern ribbon development of the village of Nistelrode. The property nowadays has only a residential function. The farmhouse was designed in 1933 on commission from A. van den Hoogen by the Berlicum architect H. Tibosch.
Description.
Elongated farmhouse built on a rectangular foundation, partly with a cellar, of one storey with a roof space. The farmhouse has a shallow garden to the front and a yard to the rear. Facades in fair-faced brickwork of machine-made hard grey Flemish bond brick, laid in cross bond. The internal walls are of cement brick. Covered with improved Dutch tiles, gabled roof with ridge parallel to the street. Above the residential and livestock section there are two brick chimneys. Wooden gutter. The roof truss structure of the residential section is boarded, that of the livestock section is not.
Exterior in excellent condition. The residential section is on the southern side; next to it a barn with a bay and sheds. The windows of the residential section are rectangular. Small, slightly arched windows with a four-pane window with glazing bars. In the residential section the rectangular windows are ornamented with sober stained glass in the fanlights. Slightly recessed rounded-arch entrance with brick framing and a hard stone commemorative stone of the foundation stone laying. Double bay door with double fanlight. Hay hoist for the hay loft above the livestock section. In the rear facade there are, among other things, two large kitchen windows. The northern side facade has on the ground floor three windows as in the front facade and in the roof section two similar windows with an attached door and above it a small round window. The layout of the property is still completely authentic. The residential section has a central corridor leading to the large kitchen. To the left is a large sitting room with two bedrooms behind it. To the right of the corridor is the parlour. The central livestock sections with feeding troughs were originally for small and large livestock. The right section comprises a shed with a horse stable and a potato cellar. The livestock section has pine roof trusses.
Valuation.
The farmhouse is of general importance because of the cultural-historical values it has as a distinctive expression of social-economic, landscape and typological development; namely as a representative of the final development phase of the long-gable farmhouse in the twentieth century. The farmhouse has architectural-historical importance because of the distinctive coherence between exterior and interior. The property is important because of the distinctive architectural integrity of the exterior and interior.
