MUREN en HEKWERK behorend bij de historische buitenplaats Wegdam. De belangrijkste muren zijn de keermuren van de gracht (6A), XVIII of ouder; baksteen, gedeeltelijk afgedekt met zandstenen platen, de rest met bakstenen rollaag; ten zuiden van het huis is er in de keermuur een trap met acht treden naar het water uitgespaard; in één der trapwangen een stuk zandsteen met het jaartal 1676; verder is er lage bakstenen muur (6B) met daarop een eenvoudig spijlenhek van ijzer; deze muur, recent geheel opnieuw opgetrokken, loopt vanaf het bouwhuis naar de gracht en vormt de scheiding tussen het voorplein en de moestuin van het boerderijgedeelte van het bouwhuis. Eenvoudige lage ijzeren spijlenhekken (6C), XIX, tussen de zuidgevel van het huis en de grachtmuur en als verbinding (en mogelijkheid van afsluiting van de Wegdammerweg) tussen de noordgevels van het bouwhuis en het koetshuis; verder een gelijkvormig ingangshek (6D) vanaf de Wegdammerweg naar de noordelijke huiswei.

Description
WALLS and FENCING belonging to the historic country estate Wegdam. The principal walls are the retaining walls of the moat (6A), 18th century or older; brick, partially capped with sandstone slabs, the rest with brick voussoir course; to the south of the house there is a staircase with eight steps to the water spared out in the retaining wall; in one of the stair stringers a piece of sandstone with the date 1676; further there is a low brick wall (6B) with a simple iron spile fence upon it; this wall, recently entirely rebuilt, runs from the farm building to the moat and forms the division between the forecourt and the kitchen garden of the farmyard part of the farm building. Simple low iron spile fences (6C), 19th century, between the south facade of the house and the moat wall and as a connection (and means of closing off the Wegdammerweg) between the north facades of the farm building and the coach house; further a similar entrance gate (6D) from the Wegdammerweg to the northern house pasture.
