HUIS WEGDAM uit 1758 mogelijk in oorsprong ouder, wordt gevormd door een blokvormig bakstenen gebouw op rechthoekige plattegrond van twee verdiepingen op hoog onderhuis; rondgaand schilddak met twee hoekschoorstenen aan voorgevelzijde en gedekt met geglaasde pannen; het dakschild aan de noordzijde ontbreekt i.v.m. hemelwaterafvoer; aan achter- en beide zijkanten omgracht; het huis staat als het ware op een plateau: tussen de muren van het huis en de keermuur van de gracht liggen slechts enkele meters tuin; voorgevel van vijf traveeën; meerruitsvensters; ingang met natuurstenen stoep van zes treden in middelste travee; ter weerszijden van de dubbele ingangsdeur smalle lichtsleuven in de risalerende omlijsting; het venster van de verdieping en de dakkapel met wijzerplaat erboven zijn eveneens voorzien van een geblokte houten omlijsting; nog twee dakkapellen met luiken; boven de ingang een steen met alliantiewapens o.a. dat van de familie Van Coeverden.

Description
HOUS WEGDAM from 1758 possibly older in origin, is formed by a block-shaped brick building on rectangular floor plan of two storeys on high basement storey; surrounding hipped roof with two corner chimneys on the front gable side and covered with glazed tiles; the roof shield on the north side is missing for rainwater drainage; ditched on the rear and both sides; the house stands as it were on a plateau: between the walls of the house and the retaining wall of the ditch lie only a few metres of garden; front facade of five bays; multi-rut windows; entrance with natural stone step of six treads in the middle bay; on either side of the double entrance door narrow light slots in the projecting surround; the storey window and the dormer with clock face above are likewise provided with a fluted wooden surround; two more dormers with shutters; above the entrance a stone with alliance coats of arms including that of the Van Coeverden family.
