De HISTORISCHE TUIN- EN PARKAANLEG behorende bij de buitenplaats Cronenburgh is noordzuid georiënteerd met het hoofdgebouw haaks op de Vecht en wordt gekenmerkt door een gemengde tuinstijl. Het park beslaat een rechthoekig perceel, ter grootte van 2,5 hectare aan de westzijde van de Vecht. Het terrein wordt met uitzondering van een gedeelte aan de zuidzijde omgeven door sloten. De sloot aan de noordzijde, parallel aan de Bloklaan staat in verbinding met de Vecht. Rond het hoofdgebouw in het noordelijk deel van het park is er sprake van een eenvoudige geometrische aanleg met gazons, grindpaden, bakstenen tuinmuur en geschoren hagen. Het zuidelijk deel van het park, grenzend aan Nieuwerhoek heeft de vorm van een landschappelijk aangelegd parkbos.

De aanleg van het park is van algemeen belang vanwege de tuinarchitectuurhistorische waarde als voorbeeld van een voor buitenplaatsen langs de Vecht opvallende, noordzuid-aanleg met het hoofdgebouw haaks op de Vecht gesitueerd, voorts door de tuinaanleg in gemengde tuinstijl met een geometrische tuinaanleg rond het hoofdgebouw en een landschappelijke parkbosaanleg in het zuidelijk deel van het park.

The HISTORIC GARDEN AND PARK LAYOUT belonging to the country estate Cronenburgh is oriented north-south with the main building perpendicular to the Vecht and is characterised by a mixed garden style. The park occupies a rectangular plot, covering 2.5 hectares on the west side of the Vecht. The terrain is, with the exception of a section on the south side, surrounded by ditches. The ditch on the north side, parallel to the Bloklaan, is connected to the Vecht. Around the main building in the northern part of the park there is a simple geometric layout with lawns, gravel paths, brick garden wall and clipped hedges. The southern part of the park, bordering Nieuwerhoek, has the form of a landscape-designed park wood.
