Omschrijving
TOEGANGSHEK behorende tot de buitenplaats Vredenhoef. Bij het koetshuis staat een klein, ornamenteel smeedijzeren spijlenhek in Lodewijk XIV stijl, bestaande uit een draaibaar enkelvoudig hek tussen ornamentele zijstukken, allen voorzien van barok smeedwerk. Het linker zijstuk is voorzien van de letters VECHT, het hek vermeldt de letters EN en het rechter zijstuk draagt de letters STIJN, verwijzend naar de voormalige buitenplaats Vechtenstijn, waar het oorspronkelijk vandaan moet zijn gekomen. Het hek dateert uit het midden van de 18de eeuw.

Description
ACCESS GATE belonging to the country estate Vredenhoef. Next to the coach house stands a small, ornamental wrought-iron railing gate in Louis XIV style, consisting of a rotatable single gate between ornamental side pieces, all provided with baroque wrought-work. The left side piece is provided with the letters VECHT, the gate shows the letters EN and the right side piece bears the letters STIJN, referring to the former country estate Vechtenstijn, from which it must originally have come. The gate dates from the middle of the 18th century.
