Omschrijving
KOETSHUIS behorende tot de buitenplaats Vredenhoef. Het eenvoudige koetshuis aan de zuidzijde van het voorplein dateert mogelijk uit de tijd van het hoofdgebouw, maar zou ook 18de eeuws kunnen zijn. Het heeft in de loop der tijd verschillende functies gehad. De ingrijpendste wijzigingen onderging het in de jaren '40 van de 20ste eeuw toen het in gebruik was als verenfabriek. Het pand werd aan de linker zij- en achtergevel fors uitgebreid met verschillende bouwvolumes in baksteen en glas. Deze later aangebouwde delen zijn voor de bescherming van ondergeschikt belang. In 1976 werd het aan derden verkocht en sindsdien is het in gebruik als woonhuis. Het rood bakstenen pand op rechthoekige grondslag bestaat uit één bouwlaag en een zolder, onder een afgeplat schilddak van blauwe pannen, boven een gootlijst op klossen. Diverse soorten vensters en deuren, deels daterend uit de 20ste eeuw, zijn op onregelmatige wijze over de gevels verdeeld. In de rechterhelft van de gevel aan de voorpleinzijde twee rechte dubbele inrijdeuren, waarboven een afgeplat boogvormig bovenlicht met spaakroeden, bekroond door een geprofileerde lijst op kleine klossen. De deuropeningen zijn voorzien van glas, de oorspronkelijke koetsdeuren zijn gehandhaafd als luiken. Ter linkerzijde van het koetsgedeelte en daarop aansluitend een dienstwoning, bestaande uit een toegangsdeur met meerruitsbovenlicht en aan het uiteinde van de gevel een hoog meerruitsschuifvenster, oorspronkelijk met halve luiken aan de onderzijde. Op de verdieping vier dubbele meerruitsdraairamen. In de eindgevel aan de straatzijde op de begane grond drie hoge meerruitsschuifvensters, op de verdieping drie kleine dubbele draairamen. In de achtergevel van de voormalige dienstwoning een toegangsdeur als in de voorgevel, die tegenwoordig in gebruik is als hoofdingang. Boven de deurpartij een klein dubbel draairaam. In de achtergevel van het koetsgedeelte boven de latere aanbouw een klein dubbel draairaam en een rond venster met kruisvormige roedenverdeling.

Description
COACH HOUSE belonging to the country estate Vredenhoef. The simple coach house on the south side of the forecourt possibly dates from the time of the main building, but could also be from the 18th century. It has had various functions over time. The most significant alterations it underwent were in the 1940s of the 20th century when it was in use as a feather factory. The building was substantially extended on the left side and rear facade with various volumes in brick and glass. These later added parts are of subordinate importance for the protection. The red brick building on a rectangular ground plan consists of one storey and an attic, under a hipped roof of blue tiles, above a gutter moulding on corbels. In the right half of the facade on the forecourt side two straight double carriage doors, above which a straightened arched fanlight with spoked glazing bars, crowned by a moulded cornice on small corbels. The door openings are provided with glass, the original coach doors have been retained as shutters. To the left of the coach house section and adjoining it a service dwelling, consisting of an access door with multi-pane fanlight and at the end of the facade a tall multi-pane sash window, originally with half shutters at the lower part. On the upper storey four double multi-pane casement windows. In the end facade on the street side on the ground floor three tall multi-pane sash windows, on the upper storey three small double casement windows. In the rear facade of the former service dwelling an access door as in the front facade, which nowadays is in use as the main entrance. Above the door section a small double casement window. In the rear facade of the coach house section above the later extension a small double casement window and a round window with cross-shaped glazing bars.
