Omschrijving onderdeel 3: BIJGEBOUWEN.
Het betreft twee schuren en een kippenschuur, alle XIXc, alle op het huiseiland. De twee schuren staan haaks op elkaar langs de gracht ten oosten van het huis; ze zijn met elkaar verbonden door een lage muur, waarin het hek op het einde van de brug staat (zie onder 4). Grote schuur: gesaust bakstenen gebouw, 1864 (sluitsteen), op rechthoekige plattegrond onder overstekend zadeldak met windveren en grijze pannen; in kopse gevels ramen met ijzeren honingraatroeden en kleine ronde vensters direct onder de nok; inrijdeuren vervangen door glaspuien. Kleine schuur: idem, behalve dat de korte oostgevel een tuitgevel heeft met vlechtingen en een liggend ovaal venster in de nok. De fundering van de schuren rust voor een deel op de walmuur (zie onder 5). Kippenschuur; ten westen van het huis; laag bakstenen gebouwtje op langgerekte rechthoekige plattegrond; overstekend zadeldak met grijze pannen; het noordelijke deel is lager; in zuidelijke kopgevel vlieggaten voor duiven; lage deurtjes en stalraampjes in verschillende uitvoeringen; bij de grond lage halfronde openingen voor pluimvee.

Description component 3: ANCILLARY BUILDINGS.
These comprise two barns and a chicken coop, all 19th century, all on the house island. The two barns stand at right angles to each other along the moat to the east of the house; they are connected to each other by a low wall, in which the gate at the end of the bridge stands (see under 4). Large barn: rendered brick building, 1864 (voussoir stone), on a rectangular footprint under a projecting gabled roof with wind vanes and grey tiles; in the gable walls windows with iron honeycomb glazing bars and small round windows directly below the ridge; entrance doors replaced by glass doors. Small barn: the same, except that the short east gable has a spout gable with wattle and a horizontal oval window in the ridge. The foundation of the barns rests partly on the rampart wall (see under 5). Chicken coop; to the west of the house; a low brick building on an elongated rectangular footprint; projecting gabled roof with grey tiles; the northern part is lower; in the southern gable wall flying holes for pigeons; low doors and stable windows in various designs; at ground level low semi-circular openings for poultry.
