Omschrijving onderdeel 5a
PIJLERS, XXa. Aan het begin van de oprijlaan aan de Almenseweg staat een stel pijlers; twee bakstenen kruispijlers met een rollaag van horizontaal gemetselde baksteen, bekroond door kleine ronde zandstenen vazen, die mogelijk 18de-eeuws zijn; geschulpte schacht met knorrenrand aan de onderzijde; aan de pijlers bakstenen wangen, die kwartrond naar de weg toe gebogen zijn, ook aflopende hoogte; de pijlers zijn aan de straatzijde voorzien van zandstenen platen met naam en wapen van de buitenplaats in hoogreliëf.

PILLARS, first half of 18th century. At the beginning of the drive at the Almenseweg stands a pair of pillars; two brick cross pillars with a roll course of horizontally laid brick, crowned by small round sandstone vases, which may be from the 18th century; fluted shaft with knurled edge at the base; brick cheeks on the pillars, which bend in a quarter-round towards the road, also with decreasing height; the pillars are provided on the street side with sandstone tablets with the name and coat of arms of the country estate in high relief.
